Summary: We had a great stay. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. It was great to sit on the porch, watch the water and hear all the frogs, bugs and looking for lightning bugs. Loved the place.

Summary: I wanted a peaceful getaway for my kids and I before school began. It was a lovely stay at the secluded cabin. A pretty pond, nature and porch swing provided exactly what I was looking for. The cabin was well equipped with comfy furniture, kitchen ware, and fun games for the kids. Simba, the neighbor's ginger cat, came to visit us which was a highlight. We loik forward to a return trip in the near future. Loved everything! The hosts were great and provided excellent communication. They even had coffee and farm fresh eggs waiting for us.

Summary: Trip was for Sibs Only, no spouse. There were 5 of us 2 sisters & 3 brothers age range 55 to 66. Our Mother had passed away in March of 2022, at that time we thought we should plan an annual get together as Sibs Only, so we could be kids. We picked a point that was a central location to Denver Colorado and East End of Long Island, Edwardsville, IL was that place. We had a great time touring the local bars and eateries, had no plans or agenda, just have fun and be together.

Summary: This was an idyllic setting for our family to spend time together for my nephew’s wedding. It’s BEAUTIFUL, lots to do, big enough for family dinners, and secluded but an easy drive to everything we needed. The only minor issue was the bark beetles, which I’m assuming is somewhat common for a log cabin. The communication with the manager was amazing, and they were SO accommodating. Next time we are here to visit, we will absolutely book again!
