Modern Elk Mountain Estate Chalet sleeps 18-20 comfortably. 2 hours or so from NYC, NJ and Philadelphia. Come experience Summer fun and Amazing Fall Foliage!!! 10 min from Elk Mountain Ski Resort. Close to Rail Trail and State Park. 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. Our Estate Chalet features beautiful natural views and overlooks a large nature pond. Perfect for getting away and unwinding. Our Chalet is a high efficiency home with radiant heated floors for warmth and 5 zones cooling system for Summer comfort. Gourmet kitchen and great room with floor to ceiling windows and real stone fireplace. Hot tub on rear patio overlooks nature and night skies for star gazing with a glass of wine and loved ones. WIFI provided. Many nature trails on site and only 3 miles from Clifford Community Park for Pickle Ball, mile long walking/biking paths, baseball, tennis, basketball and awesome well maintained kids' playground, as well as a short drive to entrance to D and H Rail Trail for bike riding and hiking for all ages. Located just 8 minutes from Elk Mountain Ski Resort for best skiing on East Coast! Creek for fishing, swimming and tubing. Chalet is part of a larger estate property featuring a main Manor house that sleeps up to 25 and a separate listing. Both homes are completely private from each other and may be rented separately or together for larger groups such as family reunions, retreats, weddings and special events. 5 wonderful golf courses within a short ride. Seasonal polo on grounds. Fishing on grounds. Stocked creek. Home is very private, surrounded by trees and nature located down in a glen by a pond and creek. Wild berries grow everywhere for picking. All year-round fun!!! Lakes, state parks, rafting, ski slopes, casino, aquarium, Happy Trails horseback riding, animal parks, water parks, etc nearby. Chalet has 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths, with private queen master suite. Chalet has a game room with couches and flat screen TV as well as Ping Pong table. This level opens to expansive side yard with horseshoe pit and seating. Large yard areas all around the property for outside games and group activities. Creekside picnic area. Gas firepit and wood firepit on rear deck and patio. Large grill on rear deck with seating, which overlooks the rear lawn, pond and backside of Elk Mountain. Linens and bath towels provided. Fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub. WIFI. Landline phone provided as a courtesy. Grocery store, pizza, sandwiches, wine and beer shop and Dollar Store for necessities all within 3-5 miles of our home. Summary: How a great time enjoying the outdoors and playing games with the family. You could sit on the deck & watch the kids play on the swingset. The kids & men enjoyed catching fish in the pond right there in the backyard. A short walk to a swimming hole in the creek. Relaxing around the fire pit in the evenings Host Laura & Peter were very responsive & helpful.

Summary: The property is conveniently located to elk Mountain ski resort. The kitchen is perfect for gathering with friends and the fireplace creates a cozy experience. The hot tub was great after a long day on the slopes. Plenty of parking and was clean and rather spacious. This is our 3rd time staying at this property.

Summary: The property was beautiful! It was as pictured! Accommodated my family of 21 from 6 months to 71 years. Has a separate little apartment for those who want or need to get away! One problem was cell phone service. Not good. Owner was very accessible! Great location for Elk Mt. skiers. My family had a great time except for Eagles loss.
