Summary: We really enjoyed our visit to Astoria and staying at the Pilot House! It exceeded all of our expectations, especially the views. All the windows in the house enable you tp have panoramic scenic views of the harbor. The double shower heads and cobblestone flooring in the shower was awesome! Everyone enjoyed the house robes as well. We walked to the Sea Crab house for dinner and got the seafood boil for dinner which was super fun and easy to get to. We also went to the ice cream shop for dessert afterwards. If you are thinking about booking this property you should do it! It is definately a priceless memory.

Summary: Our stay was pleasant in this cozy home!! The linens were very nice and the beds are super comfortable. Check in was a breeze and communication with the host was awesome!! The only complaint is that the hot tub was not covered and was not working upon arrival. It works great once I got it up to proper temperature and cleaned out. It looks like it once had a cover from the pictures we saw when reserving. We also had to deal with a few wasps nests which I guess is expected with a house out in nature :) Overall very pleased with everything, and would recommend!!

Summary: This property was great for the 4th. It was perfectly quiet which was great for our dog who doesn’t like fireworks. And a fenced in area which was helpful. The property was clean, the bed was comfortable. There is a supplemental air unit in the king bedroom which worked great. It got plenty cool at night to cool the house down. Wish I would have paid more attention to the notes about the satellite and brought a dvd player, but we read and relaxed. The hot tub is not available. The host could not have been more responsive. We lived Jacksonville and Applegate lake. The lavender farm nearby was great. The people in the area are very friendly.

Summary: A perfectly private getaway for groups of all sizes. Everything inside was brand new, but the house maintains a quaint elegance that instantly makes you feel at home. Very comfortable beds, plus a great kitchen to cook in if you feel so inclined. Ed was lovely to interact with, and responded promptly to every query. With incredible mountain views, and only 7 minutes from the best house smoked pastrami in Southern Oregon at Applegate Store & Cafe(and fantastic pizza at Applegate Country Club), this property offers both privacy and convenience -the best of both worlds.
