This newly refurbished/remodeled cabin with a very large covered porch sits on almost an acre by Highway 5 South. 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Large sectional couch and sturdy/full-sized futon in living room for extra guests.
Private and plenty of room for boat, trailer and extra vehicles.
Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans and appliances. Washer and dryer provided at no extra charge. Linens and towels provided.

Summary: Overall lovely cabin, thoughtful details and hosts. Traveled with family (2 adults, 2 kids age 8) to see the eclipse. Large shaded yard and we LOVED the front deck. Also visited the lake and the fish hatchery which was a surprising highlight of the trip! Hatchery has some delightful volunteers, gift shop, creek with developed deck and trail. Cabin has obviously been remodeled with some love and attention. Front deck is completely enclosed with a latched gate great for kids or pets. There are three rooms - one bedroom with full size bed that has a back door with ramp access; one kitchen/dining room with front porch access; one living room with large sectional, TV, and another full size bed. Access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom. The sectional is very comfy. Bed in main bedroom is VERY soft with foam top while bed in living room is more firm with foam top. I do think 6 could fit in here especially if kids; 2-4 is more comfortable depending on how big you are! Perfect little family cabin or fishing cabin! Hosts also sent notes for some local recommended restaurants, fishing areas, swimming beach.

Summary: Our stay here could not have been better! The location of the cabin was excellent and very accessible to both Mountain Home and Norfork. When in Norfork, Heidi's Ugly Cakes is a must! The cabin has an incredible porch with a wonderful Weber grill. The kitchen is well appointed, and the living room very comfortable. We plan on returning! Highly recommend!

Summary: We stayed for our second anniversary and it was great! We love the feel of home and location! Only wish is for a softer bed but the futon and couch did just fine! Loved getting to bring our pooch and play in the yard!
