Welcome to the Cabin at Magic Tree Sanctuary! Nestled in the woods of Meadows of Dan, VA, the Southern Living designed cabin is the perfect basecamp for your Blue Ridge Mountain getaway. Private, cozy and comfortable, the 1000 square foot private retreat offers top-notch accommodations for 4 people.
On the main floor, you'll find a great room, kitchen, dining area, full bath and one bedroom with a queen-size bed. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with a queen-size bed and private bath.
Relax on the rocking chair front porch during the day and gather at the fire pit by night. The property has a creek, streams, spring-fed ponds, pastureland as well as numerous walking trails. Plenty of exploring to do!
The cabin has direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 182. Nearby attractions include hiking at Buffalo Mountain and Knob Hill, the famous Mabry Mill, Chateau Morrisette Winery, The Primland Resort, Blue Ridge Tree Climbing, water sports at Fairy Stone State Park, FloydFest, plus shopping in downtown Meadows of Dan and Floyd.

Summary: This cabin is a piece of heaven. Very well equipped and the owner has been exceptionally thoughtful about all the details- other than the food you bring, everything you need is here. We loved every peaceful moment. Great trails around the area, and the neighbor, Bob, was a real delight to meet. Check in and check out were very easy and the directions were clear and specific . Summary: A perfect stay from beginning to end...the only downside was actually having to leave. Easy communication with host. A perfect, well thought out cabin with everything you need already anticipated & provided. A gracious caretaker who made sure we experienced the most out of the trails available on the property. Loved the local artwork! Think this is what paradise must look like. Absolutely would love to stay again!

Summary: Laurel Fork cabin is a perfect opportunity to unplug and relax. The only noise is what nature provides; peepers in the evening, birds during the day. The mountain laurel was just starting to bloom, and the flame azaleas were in full bloom on the parkway. There are many trails to explore and many secluded spots to sit and read. The cabin is thoughtfully appointed with anything you may need.

Summary: We had such an amazing time at this cabin. It was everything that I we hoped it would be. Secluded - clean - super cute - lots of trails - a fire pit - a fire place - and a porch to hang out on. The moment we arrived, we felt at home and took advantage of everything the cabin had to offer. I made a YouTube video of our stay that can be found by looking up japayne3 - Let's Escape to the Mountains, and hopefully it will make you want to book this cabin as well. Summary: The cabin is great . Will visit again! The host has thought about everything. You have everything needed there for a relaxing stay. Make sure you do grocery shopping on way there. The closest place is 30 minutes out

Summary: My wife and I have rented many cabins through VRBO but none quite like this. It was so clean and the hospitality and personal touches from the home owner were unparalleled. The heated floors were used more than expected and were so comfortable. The wifi is slow as they disclosed in the listing, so be aware you cannot "work" from the cabin, but we took that as a positive!
