Summary: Penny and Bud are fantastic people. This is my second stay at their ranch. They are kind, generous, caring, considerate, patient, hosts. Both of them have taught me and my family so much about the ranch and all the animals. I love exploring the ranch and the surrounding areas. My grandson who’s 6 loves coming out and spending the night as well. He loves all the animals and has learned so much about life on a ranch. Sometimes it’s happy and sometimes it’s sad but such is life. My grandson adores Ms. Penny and Mr. Bud. They are both so kind, friendly, patient, and welcoming to everyone. Each day on the ranch is different, the winds can blow like crazy out there, each day the sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experiences here. I am going back again and again.. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy. The ranch is far enough away from the hustle and bustle that you feel totally relaxed, the setting is peaceful. You’re close enough to 2 major cities that anything you need is 15 to 30 minutes away. Excellent setting and excellent hosts. I give the ranch the highest rating..

Summary: First and foremost Bud and Wendy are fantastic, kind, caring, patient, genuine, and generous people. They made my trip. Hopefully, they will now be life long friends. The apartment is perfect. It’s cozy and far enough from the main house that you have as much privacy as you want. I developed relationships with all of the animals which touched my heart deeply. All the dogs are adorable with each one having such sweet personalities. I fell in love with each one of them. Penny taught me a lot about horses much to my delight. I made friends with people that boarded their horses at the ranch. I also developed relationships with each horse. I was on the ranch for approximately 6 weeks and I have already made reservations to go back for 6 more weeks. The entire experience was a 5 star plus for me. My 6 year old grandson came out to visit and he fell in love with the apartment. Every time he came to visit he would say “Mimi I love this house”. He was slightly afraid of the animals the very first time he came out to visit but with each visit he fell in love with all of the animals as well. He loved seeing Mrs. Penny and Mr. Bud. It was a great experience for him to see what it takes to care for all the animals and to keep a farm clean and tidy. The weather and the farm have their own personalities so you never know what each day will bring but there is beauty in each day no matter what it brings. Life is a lot simpler on the ranch you leave all the hustle and bustle behind as you drive out to the ranch. This is the way I want to live the rest of my life. I am so lucky to have met Penny and Bud. I am honored to call them friends. My stay was exactly what I needed. I would have no reservations recommending this property. I just want to have opportunities to go back myself. The experience was fantastic in every aspect of trip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: Wicked Windy Ranch is that sublime combination of a world away and around the corner. In the apartment, looking at the open prairie framed by foothills, you feel soothingly distanced from the rush of the everyday. But, should you need something, you're an easy 20 minutes from basic shopping and no more than 40 from shop-til-you-drop outlet shopping. My trip was about distance. I was there to write, read, sleep, eat, and catch up with an old friend. Bud and Penny could not have been more accommodating or kind. They were so easy to communicate with throughout the entire stay.

Summary: This was a great place to stay that included a modern apartment and sociable hosts/animals. We loved the ranch ambiance and the mini-pig was the highlight of the trip. The ranch is located not too far from I-25 so it made traveling easy. Would stay again!

Summary: I absolutely loved the property. Away from TV, wifi- I enjoyed hiking nearby and saying good morning to all of Penny’s horses was one of the highlights of the day. Very clean. Great communication. Will be back! Thank you!
