This unique, private retreat is nestled in the woods just outside of town, with a gentle stream flowing alongside a peaceful garden pathway. Tucked away in one of the most desirable locations, the home is only a 5 minute drive to Hailey , 10 minutes to Ketchum.
This listing comprises our entire two acre forested property with two homes: the main house (5 bedroom) & guest house (2 bedrooms). Each of these can be rented separately, links to the separate listings provided below.
We are well suited for weddings and large gatherings and can potentially host more guests than listed - please inquire for events and special accommodations.
MAIN HOUSE DESCRIPTION
From the living room, our 25' floor-to-ceiling glass walls look over the extensive natural gardens and patios. The panoramic views from the kitchen, living-room and hallway's numerous glass doors/windows give a cheerful vibrance to the home, making for spectacular sunset mood lighting in the evenings & a lively living space throughout the day. A dramatic floor-ceiling cut rock fireplace in the living room is available for cozy evenings and family gatherings. The dining area has a long wooden table that comfortably seats up to 12 people, with bar seating nearby that accommodates an additional 6 guests.
Our 900 square foot master suite is amenities galore! This luxurious upstairs living space features a king-sized bed, a cozy eagles-nest interior balcony, a forrest-immersed exterior balcony, a warm personal fireplace, jetted soaking tub, and a lavish steam shower. The remaining four bedrooms in the house all have queen beds and are a separate retreat in their own way - two of the bedrooms are tucked away from the main living space with a shared bathroom, while the other bedrooms (our garden & additional suite) are separate areas with their own private entrances and bathrooms. The additional suite is its own apartment unit, located just a few steps outside the garage door entrance on the side of the home.
The house is fully equipped, including a grand piano, foosball table, luxurious linens, and beautifully appointed leather furniture. Our kids' room is stocked with toys, puzzles, all level reading books, spa towels, and extra pillows and blankets. A pack’n’play, highchair, and kids plastic silverware are included, along with a baby gate that encloses the carpeted upstairs balcony for some supervised crawling around.
GUEST HOUSE DESCRIPTION
Our homes are very comfortable with lots of space and privacy. It is great for families or friends who want to enjoy a wonderful holiday together. Additionally, the great room and patios are easily converted to accommodate large functions and gatherings, easily seating 40 to 70 for your event.
LANDSCAPE DETAILS
Our lawn near the front of the property is about 5,000 square feet. (200ft long and 50ft wide) and can comfortably accommodate a wedding of 75, a long frisbee toss or a blast of a puppy park. Being open & expansive, with dense tree cover and running water, more quiet guests can occasionally be graced by the presence of local wildlife.

Summary: My friends and I stayed here for our annual ski trip and we had so much fun! This property fit everyone so comfortably and there was so much room for everyone. It was so convenient being only ten minutes away from the ski lifts and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place! I hope to be back soon!!

Summary: Our family enjoyed the Hailey/Ketchum/Sun Valley area this Christmas. The house is nicely tucked away from the busy highway 75 and offers a quiet place to return home to after a day of fun snow activities. The house was uniquely laid out in a way that offered everyone privacy and a place of solitude when needed. However, it offered plenty of space to gather for games, hot cocoa, enjoying the fire place, meals and even a dip in the hot tub. There were plenty of cleaning supplies, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo for our big group to enjoy without having to purchase any while visiting for 8 days. We were very impressed with the private plow company that arrived (the night after a day full of snow) and scraped off the entry ways into both houses and cleared the driveway for an early morning departure. We never worried about traveling on the roads in either city or on the driveway. We did have 4 wheel drive that did help with the amount of snow that is expected there, but roads are kept up well there. The amount of washers and dryers (4 sets total) were great for keeping up with wet snow clothes and towels for our large group. There also plenty of detergent for those as well. Nobody wants to waste time doing laundry while on vacation, so the extra machines really cut down on your laundry time. There is a cute storage closet filled with toys and games for younger kids and plenty of pillows and blankets to add for extra warmth. They also offered blow up mattresses and soft cushions for extra mattresses (we didn’t need to use those). I would suggest maybe adding a few extra different options for pillows because the ones we had were a bit flat for me, however I still managed to sleep pretty comfortably. My parents said they had different pillows in the master suite and liked them. This is a great house for celebrating holidays or special events with large families or groups. The layout truly gives plenty of space for everyone and there were TWO hot tubs and kitchens. The garage is huge and we were able to park two SUVs during the winter ( which was really nice). The house is big and uniquely laid out. However, we did not find one of the bedrooms and bathrooms in the main house. The town of Hailey is cute, charming, and offers great places to eat and a very convenient grocery store. Snow Bunny’s had great french fries and Wise Guy pizza was delicious. The drive into Ketchum and Sun Valley was less than 15 minutes and was always clear and easy.

Summary: We had a large group and wanted to stay together. This property allowed for each of us to have our own room and not be on top of each other. The fire pit, hot tub and piano were all a big hit. Lots of extra towels, games and fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook large meals and keep everyone entertained. The location made it easy to grab groceries but also just a short drive to get to Sun Valley.

Summary: The location was great and the house and guest house were perfect to accommodate our large group. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee pots, plates, silverware, etc. Definitely a beautiful house with lots of amenities. Communication prior to the stay was timely and comprehensive, but there wasn’t much reciprocal communication at checkout time. Regardless, it was a fabulous home base from which to explore Ketchum and the surrounding areas!
