Summary: One of the nicest places I've stayed for a relaxing time. The house is large and extremely clean, but the wilderness just behind the house is the true jewel here. On the banks of a shallow, side channel of a SALTWATER spring, the house is like s secret entrance into a prehistoric world. Truly beautiful, old Florida. The hosts provide kayaks and paddle boards that are perfect for the slow moving stream. No manatees or larger birds but lush vegetation and calm. Note: not appropriate for most larger boats; we did manage to bring our small John boat to the house, but there's no real dock. Hope to return for another trip into the past. Thanks.
