● Four bedrooms, each with their own full bath and beautiful views of the lake.
● The main level includes the master bedroom with a king bed, steam shower, jacuzzi tub, double vanity sinks, wood-burning fireplace, and private screened porch.
● The main floor has a two-story great room with fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, opens to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, seperate pantry w/ laundry room, a custom bar, powder room, screened porch with fireplace and a 6 burner gas grill.
French doors open to an upper deck with beautiful lake views.
● The terrace level has a bunk room with a queen bed, two sets of bunk beds, full size washer dryer and a large shower. Directly off of the bunk room is a screened porch with an outdoor bunk bed overlooking the lake.
●The terrace level guest bedroom has a queen bed and its own full bath.
●The terrace level has a den with fireplace, pingpong table and french doors to an expansive deck with close access to the dock.
● The kitchen comes fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, freestanding ice maker, warming drawer, two drip coffee makers,one Keurig and a toaster. Plenty of wine glasses, dishware and platters for your use and entertaining.
● The upper level has a second master with a queen bed and private bath.
The “reading nook” is an extra twin bed and a favorite spot to read or nap!
The house has internet (provided by HughesNet) and free wifi.
○ Please note: AT&T has very limited service but Verizon is great. The house has a landline that is free to call in the US.
(Wedowee is a great place to disconnect!)
●The house is on a septic tank and does not have a kitchen disposal for that reason.
● Propane and firewood are provided for fireplaces and cooking.
● The driveway has a private boat ramp available during the summer months and
doubles as a great “beach area” for children to play in the shallow water.
● The nearest marina is less than 15 minutes away by water near the 48 bridge (Wedowee Marine South).
Gas pumps are open seven days during the summer months and six in the fall and
winter.

● The house comes with two paddleboards, one kayak and lounge chairs
● Outback Cove, where we are located is at the north end of the lake and is a very
quiet, low boat traffic, great place for skiing, paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming
and floating.
● The two story dock has year round deep water.
The house has a boat ramp at the end of the driveway accessable from May-Sept
Additional Information:
● The town of Wedowee is a 15 minute drive. There are two grocery stores, a liquor
store, gas stations and a few antique stores!
●Bobbers Restaurant and Family Dollar are a10 min drive.
● Lake Wedowee, technically “RL Harris Reservoir” was created in the 80’s by Alabama Power. The lake is 10,000 acres, 24 miles long and has 27 miles of shoreline. It was formed from a deep river channel of the Tallapoosa River. The water is very deep, and very clear- boasting some of the cleanest water with great fishing.
(Fishing licence can be purchased online from the Alabama Dept of Conservation & Natural Resources)
● Alabama Power lowers the water level about 8’ starting in early October until late April. It does affect the appearance of the shoreline but we have year round water. Our dock remains floating, but the access ramp is a little steep.
Lakelife in the winter is quite special...incredibly quiet and peaceful!

Summary: We had multiple families and friends converge on this gem of a home for nearly two weeks for some celebrations and summer R&R by the lake! What an amazing time we had! The home was breathtaking and the lake was clean & serene - our folks swam in it every day. Nature was really on display here. Watching the sunset and sunrises from the balcony was such a treat. Cooking in the lovely kitchen or built-in patio grill was so enjoyable; the house was very well stocked with anything you could think of. Michelle was an amazing host. We had a few questions during our stay and she responded within minutes every time. We spent many evenings eating, laughing, and playing games. The teens (and adults!) really enjoyed the ping pong table. We brought a LOT of amazing memories home with us. We're very thankful for the experience this place provided us!!

Summary: Beautiful home and remote location. It is really off the grid, which is relaxing. We had a little problem with a power outage due to weather. Wi-fi and cell reception was very spotty for us, which meant we had fun playing board games and reading. Plenty of beds and seating for everyone, plus the young folks enjoyed pingpong and trying out the paddle board. Thanks for having us!

Summary: Our family had a wonderful weekend at this lake house! I can’t say enough about host Michelle - she was so kind and the house is SO well stocked that I bought basic items I didn’t need for the kitchen. Decided to pay it forward and leave for the next guest. :) rent this house! You won’t regret it!

Summary: Our family had the best time. Beautiful home in a quiet, calm cove - there isn't any boat traffic like other parts of the lake. Our kids loved swimming by the boat dock and we had plenty of space to park the boat and jet skis we brought with us. Will absolutely visit again!

Summary: Our 19 year old son raced at Talladega this past weekend and we were looking for a place that was far enough away from the track so that Brayton could relax and focus, but still close enough to be convenient. The house was beyond amazing! We were able to host a team dinner where everyone was able to chill and bond the night before the race. This is something a race team cannot achieve this level of relaxation in a crowded restaurant and it made all the difference in the world. I cannot give enough praise to Michelle. She is above attentive to every little detail and even the details that I didn’t consider. Brayton was involved in a horrific crash during the race, that forced us to head home a day early to get him into a specialist on Monday, and Michelle has reached out daily to check on him. This may sound a little strange and I cannot explain it, but while this was a business transaction, I feel like I have made a friend on a personal level for life. Our biggest regret was our schedule and the limited time we had to truly enjoy the home and property. We hope to find some time to escape to this hidden paradise (and I do mean hidden and paradise) in the near future so we can disconnect from the outside world, relax and recharge our internal batteries. Michelle, thank you for being you and an even bigger thank you for sharing your incredible home with my family, for becoming a friend I look forward to getting to know over the years. We have always talked about moving to the beach in southern Florida as our last forever home, but after spending time on lake Wedowee, our forever destination may be changing directions. Summary: This house is absolutely amazing. It's very beautiful inside and out. It's isolated from the road and the scenery overlooking the lake is breath taking. We had 4 adults and 5 kids, everyone loved it. The kitchen had a great spice selection and everything dish imaginable if you wanted to cook for a large crowd. Everyone had a great time playing ping pong and enjoying the outside. The double bunks each had it's own light for reading. There were so many decks and screened in porches, not to mention the dock itself. Every walk we took on the property, a deer or two was seen. I would love to spend time in the summer in this place and never leave the property. The lake water was 50 degrees, yet some brave souls in our property decided to go swimming in the lake and loved it! Michelle was very responsive and welcoming. She even left some treats in a welcome basket of coffee and cookies.

Summary: What an amazing home to spend a week with two families… Plenty of space…very clean and the perfect kitchen to cook a big Thanksgiving meal. Had all the amenities! The view of lake is amazing… The days were warm and nights chilly! Perfect for fishing off the dock during the day and having s’mores at the outdoor fireplace in the evening! Michelle was a great hostess. The Move-in binder and directions before hand were perfect. Made it super easy to move in and start to enjoy! We will certainly be back…. Our family created many new memories and I am grateful!!!! Thank you, Michelle! The Davenport’s loved every minute!!!!
