Complete kitchen with side by side refrigerator/freezer, coffee pot, toaster, dishes, pots and skillets. Large dining table with 6 chairs. Very secluded. You will see cows, donkeys, horses, maybe a few deer and a few cars at a distance. Fishing pier. The house is approximately 30X40 with french doors going to the patio and the pond. Large picture windows for great outside viewing. French doors going to the spacious bedroom with queen size bed and an attached bath for your privacy. Drinking water dispenser, coffee, creamer. Bring your fishing poles/bait, shooting gear & food. (Please pick up your brass) Queen bed, private bedroom, two couches and a recliner.

Summary: We stayed on this property to attend the TX Renaissance Festival. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Our family had a great time fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Mrs. Sherry was such a gracious and accommodating host. We would definitely rent from her again. Our kids talked about the stay all the way home.

Summary: We had a horrible first half of the year and really needed to relax, recharge & restore ourselves. This was the perfect fit for us! No people around, but still close enough to go shopping at walmart. Great views. Shooting range was just what we asked for. Only disappointment was the pond was not full & we didn't catch any fish. But we did relax & catch a good conversation! Loved seeing the horses & other livestock. We'll definitely be back when we need another recharge! Highly recommend it!!

Summary: Tranquil, pretty little country getaway. Convenient to the Renaissance Festival, which is why we stayed, but I'd stay again just to enjoy the property.

Summary: We enjoyed such a nice relaxing weekend fishing and floating. We even got some target practice at the gun range. I loved the location and got some much needed R & R. We will most definitely go back.

Summary: Relaxing came natural in this place. We simply needed a few days of refueling. We enjoyed the benefit of relaxing, reading, studying, stitching, walking and wetting a line. The fish weren’t quick to jump on the hook...but strategically bit often enough to string us along. We caught a few small ones and a 4 pound bass...we released them quickly for you to catch. It was fun to watch a good Astros game on the big screen TV. The hosts provided a welcoming atmosphere and were quick to respond to any of our communication. One of the bonus benefits that blessed us was the large bottled water dispenser...so refreshing! In fact the time out there was refreshing for the body and soul....thanks for making it so.
