Real beach house on one of Boston areas most beautiful and clean beaches. This is a well-maintained, three bedroom, single story 'cape', with nice front deck and easy off street parking for at least 3 cars. This is not just "walk to beach," its right at the end of the beach foot bridge. Beautiful family area with good neighbors, walk to stores and restaurants.
**Cozy Fireplace and Gigantic front sliding glass doors for enjoying cooler weather.**
Good Harbor Beach - Located on Thatcher Road, Rt. 127A, Good Harbor is a beautiful beach with lovely, white sand facing the Atlantic. At low tide, one can walk out to Salt Island while at high tide one can enjoy body surfing or boogie boards. Lifeguards are on duty Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily. Surfing, inflatable objects and all floatation devices with the exception of Styrofoam boogie boards are prohibited during the hours lifeguards are on duty.
Gloucester has adopted a Carry In – Carry Out Policy for Good Harbor and Wingaersheek beaches so please be prepared to carry out any trash with you when you leave. Food, drinks, beach toys, and other beach necessities are also available at the concession.

Summary: The cottage was perfect. Had a great time, made plenty of memories together with our two dogs. Views are amazing and beach access is the best. Owner very responsive and accommodating. Highest recommendation. We hope to go back when able. Stayed for a month. Best month of the year!

Summary: What a week we had…great time with family and friends. Tried new restaurants and spent evenings playing board and card games. You can’t beat this location for easy access to Good Harbor, walking to the ice cream stand, etc.

Summary: This beach house has so much to offer...steps from Good Harbor Beach, wonderful deck with great view, great area to walk and just a quick walk to Bass Rocks. The house is very well kept and is cozy and comfortable! A beautiful gas fireplace to warm up by on those chilly nights. Great communication with host. Already looking forward to returning.

Summary: Delightful beach house only steps away from Good Harbor Beach. Enjoyed beautiful sunrises, shorebirds and the convenience of being so near the ocean. I found the house to be a recording of reminiscencies of earlier times in Gloucester. There were wonderful books and pictures available to enjoy. Also a collection of movies to watch if you have spare time. The fireplace was a great way to warm up on chilly days. Hope to return again.

Summary: Lovely views of Good Harbor Beach. Two minute walk and you are there! Spectacular waves especially when a Noreaster blows through. Fireplace makes the cottage so cozy. Eric is a super host and provided everything we needed. We loved our winter getaway!!
