Summary: The Whispering Moose Cabin did not disappoint!!! Lighting was clearly marked and easy access to the many outlets. This is a rare find when renting. The property is well maintained and clean! The owner emailed pertinent information that made our stay most enjoyable. He answered any questions we had in a very timely manner. A major plus is that they have trash pick up. I would highly recommend this cozy, welcoming cabin! Location, for us, was perfect!

Summary: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this tranquil home for a few days of skiing at Okemo. It was our first time staying in in this corner of Vermont and hopefully won’t be our last! The owners description is spot-on, with no surprises other than it actually being nicer than expected. The house felt well insulated and in almost-new condition. There was a modern, high efficiency heating system that silently supplied heat and hot water for showers and laundry. Every area inside felt warm and inviting. The neighborhood was quiet at night which made for peaceful relaxing evenings. The kitchen was delightful, with everything we needed for preparing meals and plenty of space for dining. The proximity to Okemo was a huge plus too, only a mile or two away. Most anything we needed was nearby too, supermarket, shopping, dining, etc. Ludlow being a lovely town was an unexpected surprise. I can’t say enough good things, this was definitely one of our favorites after 10+ years of renting vacation properties. We all hope to visit again!

Summary: Had a great week skiing from this cabin for 3 adults and 3 children. The location was excellent and within just a few minutes drive to either Okemo Resort base (Clock Tower) or the town of Ludlow. Everything was very smooth with check-in/out and we had great communication with Jared while we were there. Anything we could have needed or wanted was thoughtfully provided to make our stay as pleasant as if it were our own home. We can't wait to be back here again!

Summary: This beautiful cabin was nestled in forest greens. However there was no fear of being isolated, pleasant neighbors were just a breath away through the trees. We felt safe and yet had plenty of privacy. Everything one could need to feel at home was readily available. We lacked for no appliance, or linens, or entertainment. They even left a bottle of wine to welcome us and it was delicious. The balcony was a morning haven, opening to the sunshine but shaded enough to make a pleasant morning retreat. There was plenty of room for all with nooks for privacy and quiet reading. The backyard had a splendid fire pit that we enjoyed for some marshmallow roasting and the owners were thoughtful enough to have provided firewood. The clean up upon leaving boasted few requirements, a few simple instructions that were easy to follow. Throughout the stay, the owners kept in touch with helpful suggestions and solutions. I do feel it is important to note that there is one air conditioning unit for the entire house so be aware. With that said, we found that even in August, the basement stayed cool and evenings we were able to open windows and use the fans provided to circulate air and were quite comfortable. I highly recommend this location, any time of year. Kudos to the thoughtful owners for a very enjoyable trip.
