Private Spa Retreat with “conditional”, Private Lake Access! This completely remodeled, daylight basement has a private entrance into the living room, and dining area, which has a pop up couch for extra guests, and a 40” Smart TV. The table extends for six. An ottoman turns into a cot. The Queen suite has seating area that sleeps one extra. The 3/4 bath, has a tiled, glassed in shower, with plenty of light, and hands-free, botanical body, and hair products. Luxury towels or fast drying towels. Turkish towels for outside use.
There is fully equipped kitchen to create meals to remember and smoothies to get you started in the morning.
You’ll have a huge covered patio with a dining table, a sitting area, charcoal BBQ, and a Solo fire pit. Once you're settled in start the sauna or take a hot tub! There is an outdoor shower for cool downs and pre hot tub, entry. Enjoy this secluded outpost where wildlife pass by your window, and the trees feed your soul. Across the street is the lovely private, Lake McDonald. Access requires homeowner presence. Our Community treasures it's privacy! We have two kayaks. One is set for trolling. The lake is stocked with trout and many native species.
It is a one-mile walk around the lake. The Maple Hills neighborhood has a three mile circumference and a much quieter place to walk your dog.
We’re located on a Peninsula overlooking Maple Valley and the Cedar River. Two minute walk to Sunset Point to watch the day's end. Listen to the wildlife is where you can feel the forest breath!.
Issaquah and I-90 are 12 minutes away to the East and Renton is 20 minutes away to the Northwest. Groceries 10 minutes. Sea-tac is 25 minutes away. 40 minutes to downtown Seattle.
The Mountain to Sound Greenway provides plenty of outdoor trails, and hang gliding off Tiger Mountain. Squak Mountain is the nearest trailhead to this property, with only a five minute drive. Snoqualmie Pass has three ski areas popular in the area. Newcastle Golf Club is close by, as well, and has a restaurant and bar with amazing views of Bellevue, Seattle, Lake Washington, Puget Sound, and the Olympic Mountain range!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Kim was a great host. Very friendly and easy to deal with answering questions before we came and helping us check in making sure we would be comfortable. We are planning to return soon when we have time for another weekend away

Summary: Kim’s place is a gem. It’s one of the most well appointed places we’ve ever stayed with VRBO, and we wanted for nothing. The beds were comfy and Kim got in touch before we arrives to see how we wanted it set up. We set it up as two queens and the sofa bed was just as comfy as the bed. The hot tub was magical after a few days of driving to ski at Crystal, Snoqualmie and Stevens Pass. Kim made recommendations for the area and on the morning of our last day, she shared her big reveal - the deck has an amazing view of Mount Rainier! Recommend highly!

Summary: We had a rental house thar canceled on us 1 day before our arrival due to Snow in Seattle area. We last minute found Kim's property and we were happy that the first one didn't work. The property is really close from Seattle, even with snow still was accessible, the place was clean and organized. We made full use of the Kitchen that is complete for you to cook whatever you need. The hot tub and sauna were great. Our New Year's Eve holiday was saved.

Summary: I absolutely loved this place and Kim! We got semi-snowed in and Kim was nothing but helpful and kind. She made sure our walkway was shoveled and even made sure part of the grass was for our dog. The space was comfortable and clean. We can't wait to come back!

Summary: We were in the Renton area visiting our son and his family. After spending the days playing with our active grandchildren it was so nice to come back to this very tranquil property to relax and refresh. The property is close to the action of the larger metro Seattle area but tucked away in a very quiet, idyllic wooded area in the Lake McDonald area. The property itself is the lower level of the host's house. I was a little concerned about this when I booked it thinking it might not be private enough. However, Kim is a fantastic host. We never felt intruded on, but she was right there via text if we had any questions. Our dog traveling with us was in heaven! The space itself was large and overlooked a beautiful small lawn surrounded by gorgeous gardens and the woods. This was the best equipped rental at this price point we have ever stayed in with lots of extras like scented candles, an assortment of teas, a fully loaded spice rack, plus an old-time waffle iron that our grandchildren enjoyed when they came to visit. Definitely a 5 star experience and we hope to come back for another stay next time we're in town.

Summary: Our stay here was much needed in more ways than one. My and my fiancé stayed here due to needing a longer term stay while our other home was being repaired. Right of the bat Kim greeted us with warmth, kindness and great vibes! When she showed us the the apartment underneath to top level of her home I was amazed. Everything was spotless and the kitchen has all the bells and whistles in order to cook a proper meal. Such a cozy home! Kim was such a wonderful host. She also make us delicious meals and the BEST gluten free waffles....and to die for gluten free banana bread. We were spoiled rotten. Plus while we were gone at work or running errands she was so kind to let our dog out to go potty and check on her. I could keep ranting and raving for days about our host but she is a special piece of the experience staying here. The backyard is gorgeous! Wood fire stove was great. Bed was comfy. But man just the spa amenities alone were beyond perfect. Outdoor shower. A big hot sauna and a bubbling hot tub. Such a beautiful retreat. I highly recommend this property for anyone needing a getaway or a staycation to reset and do some yoga here from time to time.
