Welcome to our beautiful home in the heart of Smith Hill, just a 1.5-mile walk to Brown University and a 1-mile walk to Rhode Island School of Design | RISD. Our on-site hosts offer a super clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe space for busy travelers seeking peace and tranquility during their stay. We are not a hotel, so please be aware that we don't have 24/7 staff on duty, nor do we provide hotel services. However, we love hosting and sharing our home with our guests, and we kindly ask that you read and respect our house rules during your stay.
Our stylish private spacious room is perfect for business travelers, parents visiting their children at local universities, academia visitors, medical students on rotations, postdocs & researchers, graduate students, visiting faculty, and anyone else looking for a peaceful place to stay in Providence. With free off-street parking (one spot, small to midsize sedans/SUVs, no big trucks/vans please), our location offers convenient access to local universities, medical facilities, and downtown Providence.
If you're looking for things to do, our location is close to many popular destinations, including Brown, John Wales, and RISD Universities (1.4 miles away), Rhode Island State House (0.8 mile away), and Providence Place, a shopping mall in downtown Providence (0.7 miles away).
The space
This sunny super comfortable bedroom is a fantastic space for your stay in Providence. It sleeps up to twoin an immaculately clean king sizebed, a desk for your work/studies & lots of design touches.
This room is located on the second floor, so there are 2 flights of stairs to climb and we do not have an elevator. Our property is a 3 story house built on 1900s.
There are fully furnished shared: one full bathroom, one full kitchen, and one full living room. You can also enjoy our fully furnished shared backyard garden.

Summary: The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. I was impressed with how responsive and accommodating they were. We are in our 60's and did not realize the bathroom and other spaces were "shared" with other potential people staying in the one or two other bedrooms. For some people this may be ok for us not so much. Fortunately we did not have to share. They do have a private room so if booking, and this is important, please inquire. They are lovely hosts.
