Summary: We had the pleasure of staying at Firefly Farms during our disc golf team challenge weekend (LFGW!) in December. The house was 8 minutes from Burbine Forest and was the perfect size to house most of the team. The first of us arrived Friday afternoon and found the key as described, however it did not work for the front door, they were able to get in via the open side door, though. There are TVs, however bring a Chromecast or something to hook up to them to use, there is no cable or other option. The pool was closed up (makes sense for December) however the hot tub was still out of commission and that was disappointing, but Chad mentioned that when I asked for the check-in instructions so we had a heads up. To note, with the pool being closed, that also meant the pool HOUSE was closed, so we did not have access to that building or beds. The Wi-Fi password listed didn't work, we were told to check the router to confirm which wasn't a big deal. In terms of food delivery, we did have to go out ourselves both nights to pick up food, Uber/GrubHub wasn't available.All of this to say - the house was still beautiful and a pleasure to stay in. There was plenty of space, the downstairs game room was fantastic with the pool table, we were able to watch the meteor shower on the expansive upper level deck and lower level pool area, there was even a telescope we used to check out the moon. We'll definitely look to stay here again if next year's schedule sends us away for Burbine!

Summary: Overall the house and property were perfect for us but wanted to note a few things we were disappointed in. 1. The hot tub was non functional while still be advertised 2. The pool was filled with dirt and debris from a recent storm. We were forced to clean it ourselves which took ~3 hrs to swim in it. Paying 5,000 for a property I did not expect this. 3. The overall shape of the house was just ok, many door knobs would just fall off the doors and both pool cues were broken as an example. 4. The sulfer water was veryyyy strong, I am used to sulfer water but never to this degree. Our entire group couldnt shower as youd come out slimy from the water sulfer levels. Overall the host was very communicative, and the house accommodated everyone very well so this still gets 3 stars

Summary: The view and sunset is unmatched on when you're out by the pool relaxing. If it's warm out at night, pick a room downstairs as it's much cooler, and be sure to bring bottled water as the tap is well water that has the sulfur smell. The home is beautiful and the location is prime for a getaway.

Summary: While the photos do the property justice and it was clean, our stay however was not a happy one. When we arrived there was no water and while the property manager Chad was easy to contact and had a quick remedy. The water after it was back on smelled of sulfur and was hard and drying to the skin. There is also a dog kennel at the direct neighbors that barked at all hours. The worst part of our stay was how the owners of the house started talking about us through the camera in the driveway the day BEFORE we were due to check out. We were getting ready for a day of adventure which was then delayed because the owners didn't know who we were and called the police on us by impersonating the host. Thankfully Chad saved us from having to talk to the police. However the rest of our stay we left like we were being watched and that's no way to relax after you get married. Becareful and good luck if you book this location.

Summary: Overall we had a great time. The views were amazing, especially the sunsets, and wide open fields. At night you can see the stars from the balcony or the hot tub. Pool, hot tub, balcony, and the whole outdoor set up was great. The grill on site was also a huge benefit. Some small things that could have made it a 5 star review: It was a hot weekend, and the window AC units were not enough to keep everyone comfortable, especially trying to sleep, even with using the fans that were provided. The water also had a very strong sulfur smell, and low pressure. We had issues with the wifi during the duration of our stay, as the connection was never strong enough to really work. Lastly, upon our arrival the pool was pretty dirty and the filter seemed like it hadn’t been running in some time. The pool guy came the following day and got everything cleaned and ready to go early in the morning so that was great. Minus these small things our group really had a good time and the place was very peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend this location for others!

Summary: This house has 6 bedrooms but it provides only one unit of AC in a common area that is not even working well. Warning: We looked at the listing it shows AC available but if you click for more detail it shows that this is only one AC (we should have looked at it or we would not rent this property to begin with). Before we checked-in we reached out to the host, he copied and pasted check-in information that is not for this house (likely it was for his other listings), stated that there were 5 AC units, wrong wifi password, and instruction to leave trash in garage but it was locked, and etc. We reached out to the host right after we checked in, raising a concern that the inside of the house was very warm and he told us to use fans and only windows instead. And of course all of us had a hard time falling asleep at night it was so hot even though it was raining at night and there are many insects flying in because we had to open the windows. We tried to contact the host after but there is NO response. We contacted the host again before we checked out asking about where to leave trash since the garage is locked but no response. We then heard from vrbo staff today that he wanted to charge us more for cleaning fee!! We made sure that we cleaned everything right before we left. Thankfully we have proof. We gave 2 stars because at least the house has beautiful view with a pool. We would not recommend staying in the summer unless you don’t mind sweating and insects at night
