This charming studio guest cabin located in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country offers stunning views of both the coastal mountains and the vineyard in which it is located. It is just minutes from historic downtown McMinnville with its outstanding restaurants, wine bars and unique shopping opportunities.
The cabin was lovingly constructed in 2008 using recycled/sustainable materials wherever possible. Hand hewn timbers from an 1840's Ohio barn span the vaulted ceiling while hardwood flooring from a Jim Beam distillery graces the floors. Antiques and art add warmth and beauty to this special getaway.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a two burner cooktop, micro/convection oven and dishwasher. French doors open to a very private deck where you can relax in Adirondack chairs after a day spent touring the surrounding area. Literally hundreds of wineries are available for touring and downtown Portland is an easy hour drive away as is the Pacific Ocean.

Summary: All went well once we contacted the property owners. Working through VRBO was the pits. Twice we were told the reservation was fine, but trying to communicate was hopeless. We’ll not use VRBO ever again. Sorry.

Summary: Beautifully situated, very private and well maintained cabin. Every detail attended to make for a comfortable, relaxing experience. Stunning view of vineyard with rolling hills in the distance. Welcome bottle of lovely red from the vineyard awaited us. Delightful visit!

Summary: My wife and I stayed in this cabin Sept 11-17, 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Don and Jean are great hosts and visits from their dog Hazel was an added surprise. This cabin is a great home base for visiting wineries in the area and McMinnville is only 11 minutes away. The cabin and property are immaculately maintained, and sitting on the porch looking out over the winery and distant mountains was very relaxing. We couldn't have found a better place to stay!

Summary: This wonderful cabin in the hills near McMinnville was everything we were hoping for AND MORE!!! We loved having coffee on the porch looking over the vineyard! We didn’t want to leave the cabin! The landscape around the cabin was stunning…oh how I wish to have that fertile soil near our home!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to pure relaxation and enjoy the very best wines in the most picturesque location!! Cheers!

Summary: We loved everything about this cabin! The view is incredibly beautiful with windows facing the vineyard. Beginning at the long driveway, the grounds are immaculate, green grass, trees & beautiful flowering plants. The owners are friendly & helpful. We will be back! Highly recommend this property!

Summary: We had a fab time in the little wine cabin. Our dog loved running in the vineyards and had a great time with Hazel, the owner's dog. Ed Grenfell park is nearby and has a nice fenced dog park. We will be back!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this gem of a rental! My wife and I met up with our daughter to do some wine tasting and enjoy each other’s company. This little cabin is all we hoped it would be. There were plenty of thoughtful touches that made the experience even more special. We also had the opportunity to explore a nearby open space with beautiful trails (Miller Woods). We’ll definitely stay here again!

Summary: The cabin is small but comfortable and well set up. The view is wonderful and the area is super quiet and peaceful, yet close to restaurants and wineries. Miller woods is just down the hill (a nice place to walk around). Don and Jean were very welcoming and helpful. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
