Summary: We loved this property! The location is very special right on the water and the kayak provided made for some fun exploring in nearby Cockroach Bay Aquatic Reserve. We filmed an episode of our travel show for PBS "Outside Beyond The Lens" here and the home will be featured in the show! Love it. Highly recommend.

Summary: Enjoyed this property very much but the only negative was that the biting bugs made it impossible to sit outside in the evening or enjoy the fire pit. We bought 5 large citronella candles & lit them an hour before we wanted to go outside but they made no difference. Maybe spray the lagoon area would help!!

Summary: Quiet and private home on Tampa Bay. Three nice-sized bedrooms, very nice kitchen, and a comfortable eating and sitting area. Not a large home, but very efficient space. The yard was not in as nice shape as in the pictures, but was still comfortable for sitting by the water. No-see-ums were bad at dawn and dusk so we stayed indoors at those times. We kayaked the bay, hiked one of the nearby parks, and visited the nearby manatee viewing center that is open in the colder months.

Summary: Our small family (2 adults and one teenager) had a wonderful stay these past few days. The place was very clean and communication with Drew (property manager) was great. He was very responsive and a great host. We enjoyed watching the wildlife (aquatic birds, fish, crabs and, yes...even dolphins that came right up to the canal). As others mentioned, definitely bring bug-spray. Besides that...a great place and recommend it for a great escape!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The picture almost does not do the property justice as we felt as if we were on our own private island, just minutes from modern conveniences. The home is beautifully decorated with every modern convenience we needed. I could see the most incredible view from the master bedroom and in some places, all I could see was water and the Tampa or St. Pete skylines. Breathtaking. I had easy access to some of the most beautiful paddles through mangroves and a sheltered bay all within a couple of minutes of paddling. The fishermen were happy also!

Summary: We needed a place to stay while looking for a new home and this was a nice option since we had two little dogs that needed space to run around. Nice house, clean, easy. We stayed 3 nights and I was really looking forward to seeing the Dolphins others mentioned. We did finally see a couple of Dolphins the last night at 5:55pm (just so you know when to look!). They were right in the cove just hanging around. It was brief, but fun to see. I am a bug magnet and I got eaten alive one mid morning and didn't even realize I was getting bit, so a word to the wise, take caution and cover up or use bug spray if you're like me. My husband had no issues, so it might just depend on how much these critters like you! Overall, great experience and an easy stay. Drew was a pleasure to work with and responded to any questions promptly.

Summary: It is at the end of the road. Very quiet and peaceful. There are neighbors but you can't see or hear them. Good view of the bay. Dolphins and water birds are regular visitors. The house is older but updated nicely. Good kitchen and dining area but bring your own condiments. The only thing there is salt and pepper. Master bedroom is very nice. The other two bedrooms are serviceable but somewhat spartan. Great patio and large yard with very nice fire pit. Plan to spend time outdoors but bring your mosquito repellant. Living room is a bit cramped. Owner stayed in contact throughout. We had an issue with one of the hot water heaters. Someone was there in 30 minutes and resolved the situation. It's a bit out in the country but there is excellent dining within a 15 minute drive.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay by the bay! The home was clean, w beautiful upgrades, and had all of the necessities. We enjoyed dolphin shows in the mornings and early evenings, and the kids loved kayaking in the mangroves by the bay. Drew was a gracious and responsive host. Would dfntly return again!!

Summary: A orivate and peaceful location with daily dolphin shows from the patio and many different species of birds to watch. The kids caught fish all day, kayaked around the islands, grilled on the fire pit at night. The home was very clean and cozy with everything you could need, including a nice bottle of wine. Unfortunately the water heater died but Drew had it replaced quickly. We would definitely stay here again for more than just a long weekend.
