Le Did d'Aigle (The Eagles Nest) is located in a cove on the North River. This lodge style home was designed with views in mind. Large frameless windows let you take in every sunrise and sunset on the water. This home offers 4 bedrooms (1 master, 2 standard, and 1 with a half bath) and 3.5 bathrooms. A large living/dining space with vaulted ceilings as well as a loft style TV room. A fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ lets you and your family prepare home cooked meals throughout your stay. Outside you will find a wrap around deck over looking the pool, volley ball court, and walking path leading to the fire pit and private dock*. This property is all about the water, from fishing to kayaking**, your family will enjoy the day out in the sun on the serene North River. Low boat activity allows for a safe and worry free day exploring.

Summary: We had an end of summer vacation at this property. The owner was great to communicate with. The property was gorgeous and had everything we needed volleyballs, pool floats, fishing poles, crab pots, kayaks, fully stocked kitchen and so much more. We had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend!

Summary: Excellent property to get away. So peaceful and so many things to do if you love the outdoors. My family and friends loved the kayaking, fishing, crabbing, and swimming in the pool. Smores around the firepit was always a great way to end the night. Christine is a fantastic host and answered all of our questions promptly. We definitely plan to be back.

Summary: This house has all the fun things to do from swimming in a pool with a great view, fishing or crabbing from the dock, kayaking, enjoying a fire in the fire pit, and more. It is near Gloucester, maybe a 15-20 min drive, which feels connected enough to get groceries and run into town as wanted, but distant enough to feel a bit off the grid. The house seems well maintained and the host was good at communicating expectations. The house was comfortable and had most of what we wanted or needed. For us, not having WiFi was a bit of an inconvenience with kids that enjoy their connected video games and such. Using a phone hotspot was possible, but not smooth or cost free. However, that was fully conveyed in the listing and was known going in to our rental. We would definitely go back. It was a lovely stay.

Summary: There was everything you could want at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and even had spices for cooking. The pool and water views were the highlights. We caught crabs from the dock and the kids loved all the critters they found near the water. We were an extended family with kids ranging from 5 months to 5 years. It was very quiet and relaxing and had several areas to enjoy the outdoors.
