Summary: All the arrangements ran smoothly with easy contact wit Brigitta. The house was well equipped, practical to live in with lots of space for everyone and the children loved the pool and games room. We enjoyed the area - canoeing at Ruffec, Cognac tasting, swimming in the Charente. We all had a really lovely holiday together. Many thanks to Tim and Brigitta!

Summary: On arrival we were welcomed by Brigitta and Tim and shown the property, it was just lovely, huge garden, in which the kids immediately ran riot, burning of energy after a car journey of 7hrs! The gite was perfect for us, spacious and comfortable. Brigitta has collected a bundle of information on the local area, listing local event's, markets and places of interest, which we found very useful. Throughout our stay'La Mirabelle proved a very nice place to be, a garden big enough to spread out in, for the kids to enjoy, with some welcoming natural shade when the Sun got a little hot. Tim and Brigitta were on hand if we needed anything, from French translation to directions to local markets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would certainly recommend, 'La Mirabelle'
