Summary: It was good to have basically a small apartment. Snow in the parking lot was iffy as even when plowed it was not paved making traction dubious with ice. Also no lights for nighttime. Even with these issues I still enjoyed the stay

Summary: The entrance to the parking lot off the road is terrible. We were in a dodge truck and it bottomed out as we entered and left the parking lot.

Summary: Pretty much a mini apartment. 2 comfortable beds, appreciated portable fans in both bedrooms. Living area had recliner and couch with 2 reclining ends. Kitchen pretty much had all you could need: kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, stove. Dishes, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloth. The only thing we assumed they would have but didn’t was a hair dryer.

Summary: Me and my dad showed up and had to pay extra to use the second bed in a suite that already contained two double bedrooms - got told some guff about how the room can be advertised as a room for two coz one double bed qualifies as a two person bed but if you want two separate beds thats extra. come on lets be clear fellas that’s totally misleading, or at best easy to mistake advertising. a suite meant for two at $99 a night on Expedia became $150 in person. Paid it no argument coz we needed two beds right then and there so what choice we got? And hey, i might not have minded paying 120-150 in advance for what we got but yeah I feel I absolutely got took, so eff that.

Summary: Unique place; suite was large and spotlessly clean, although somewhat bare. Staff went over and above to send my son's forgotten stuffed animal to our new home (out of province) for which I am grateful. Only gripe is that the parking lot is not well lit. Enjoyed our stay

Summary: Good price point for Kirkland Lake area. The motel/inn is a work in progress but I trust it will only get better. We had a large room with kitchenette. The Inn and surrounding area is very quiet, great for sleeping.

Summary: This property is a little unconventional. It is not like a typical hotel at all. There is no check-in counter or any of the usual features you might see in a hotel. HOWEVER, the staff member who checked me in was very professional. The hotel was in constant communication with me, met me at the door when I arrived. Check in was quick and easy. I was escorted to my room, shown the features and then left with instruction about how to contact staff if there was any need. The room and building was very clean. The room was more like an apartment than a typical hotel room, with a full kitchen, sofa and chair, TV, separate bedrooms and bathroom. The bathroom lacked a little vanity space, but was otherwise great. The bedroom was spaceous, bed comfortable, but could use closet/hanger facilities. The ventilation fan in the kitchen is pretty low-powered, so I wouldn't trust it to evacuate heavy cooking smells. It was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes & cutlery. The unit does not look like it is air conditioned, however this was not a problem for me at this time because the weather was cool and AC was not needed. Overall, the property offers excellent value and I would absolutely stay again.

Summary: Had a really great stay here! The Manager met us at our suite when we arrived and gave us a tour. The open living space, two bedrooms, and large bathroom were really nice and gave us lots of room to relax and be comfortable. Our suite had a kitchen and dining area that had everything we could need; kettle, coffee maker, toaster... all the essentials. And all of it was at a great rate!
