A traditional Provençal house situated in the countryside between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.
The house has 4 double bedrooms, 3 with double beds and one with adult-sized bunk beds. The first guest bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and loo. Bedroom 2 has a large en-suite shower (douche Italienne) and sink. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a Jack and Jill bathroom with bath, shower and sink. There is a separate loo on each floor. There is also a double sofa bed in the downstairs snug allowing the house to accommodate between 8-10 people.
The pool is 10m x 5m with an alarm. There is WiFi throughout the property and available in the gardens as well. There is also a boules court in the garden.
The house is minutes from the village of Gréasque which has a supermarket, superb wine shop, bakeries, butcher, pharmacy, post office etc. You can enjoy walks directly from the property in La Fôret de Gardanne, or you can access the beaches of Cassis (20 mins), the Calanques (20 min), Aix en Provence (20 mn), Marseille (25 min), the Côte Bleue (25 mins) and various lakes within 45 mins to 1 hour drive. The owners are more than happy to advise on local attractions.
There are two large terraces on the south and east of the property and a covered outside sitting room with sofas and chairs.
There are two large tables, both seating ten people comfortably, inside and outside on the terrace. There is a modern and extremely well equipped kitchen, and the house is comfortably furnished throughout.
There is a large gas barbecue on the terrace and also a trusty Weber for those who prefer to cook over charcoal.
The normal rental period is from Saturday 16.00h to Saturday 10.00h but this can be flexible.
Cleaning, linen, towels, and beach towels are included in the rental and provided on arrival. If your stay is for two weeks or more, clean linen and towels will be provided weekly. If you require cleaning during your stay this can be arranged for 20€ per hour. Please leave the house tidy and bins emptied when you leave.

Summary: It was a beautiful well equipped villa. Both Nina & Rupert were very friendly and open for questions and tips. If we were to plan a holiday again in the region we would for sure put this house as our first choice!

Summary: Our plan was to have a long summer stay in the south of France with our large family. From the moment we booked the house Nina was very accommodating; answering my questions and preparing the house to welcome my family including my children. When we arrived she had built a cot for my baby as well as put up baby stair gates! The house itself is wonderful. We all felt at home with it’s beautiful decor and comfort. The kitchen is an absolute pleasure to cook in as it is so well equipped. We had many memorable meals sat out at the huge dining table outside watching the sunset. The Swimming pool is delightful and maintained well. Nina and Rupert we always available but were also keen to give us privacy. There is a great selection of reading material and plenty of games to enjoy. I do not have a negative thing to say about the house and garden or our stay. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings including the magnificent Aix en Provence, a truly beautiful French city. We also visited on multiple occasions the romantic town of Cassis by the sea. With family coming and going throughout our holiday the fact that the airport was only 25 minutes away meant that pick ups and drop offs were easy. The local market in the nearby town, Gardanne was fabulous and is a dream come true for anyone who enjoys food and cooking! I cannot describe how lovely this house is. We had such a special holiday and I am very grateful to Nina and Rupert for providing their home to enable us to relax, laugh and create such wonderful memories.

Summary: Our two families with children 10-14 had a fantastic stay in this amazing house. The garden and grounds are immaculately kept and provide a range of seating areas for relaxing, BBQs and watching amazing sunsets. Indoors, the house is very well laid out with plenty of space and enough bathrooms to comfortably accommodate two families and the beds are comfortable. The house is also exceptionally well equipped with Weber grill, cooking utensils, TV, washing machine etc. Good quality linens, including beach towels were provided. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, from the moment of providing detailed directions to the property to helping us make the most out of our last day and late night flight. The welcome pack of local grocery items left by the owners was really appreciated as well as the store cupboard essentials. The spacious pool and petanque court mean that you could happily spend the entire holiday around the house, but you would be missing out on the attractions of the local area. We enjoyed lovely day trips to local markets, Marseille, Aqualand, Cassis and Les Baux-de-Provence. The supermarket and an excellent bakery are 5 minutes down the road and the house itself is set within scenic woods. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay in this house and highly recommend that you book, you won't regret it!
