Positive: The lodge is situated at pretty much the starting point to glen pucks walk. Location was great, although a short drive to the nearest town (10 mins or so) The lodge itself was pretty cosy, and warm, too warm at times which surprised me. Facilities were spot on, sofa very comfortable as were the beds. The place was well dressed and cottage style.
Negative: I can't really think of anything if I'm honest. Bathroom door looks to have been replaced very recently, and it was catching on the floor. No big deal, that's all I can think of really, not worth mentioning to be honest. the place was sound and very well presented.

Positive: Very clean spacious and well set up. Great comfy bed, big tv, great kitchen. Really close to the Pucks glen walk. Owner was responsive and helpful. Got everything to function well with her help. I suggest you read all the instructions well and the stay will go nicely.
Negative: Needed to read online compendium to manage place inc heating, wifi, hot water etc. locked second room..made me feel like a yob. As did the security deposit we had to pay which didnโ€™t notice on booking.com though apparently it is there. No tea and coffee. Cold..we were freezing until we got the heating up to bearable. But it was an unusually cold weekend and this is a cabin. No showers til day two when we got the water heater to work which ended up being simple. A long drive to see the rest of Lomond and Trossachs National park and long drive back. Should have done our research better.

Positive: Lovely and cosy lodge with all the facilities we needed. We visited in January 2024 for 4 nights and whilst it was very cold and frosty outside we were kept very cosy and warm in the lodge.

Positive: Lovely lodge inside and out, like being in a real log cabin atmosphere! Plenty of space inside and a range utilities to use! Quiet and peaceful location. Ease of travelling to all areas with amazing scenery. Local shops in nearby town and fuel for everyday needs. Overall a wonderful experience apart from the rainy days we had.

Positive: The location was amazing - great for exploring the local islands and with a beautiful glen on your doorstep The lodge itself was cosy and comfortable The owners were very friendly and attentive
Negative: It was quite cold all of the time despite having the heating on. Just a few more basics for having a kitchen eg salt, pepper, oil etc wouldโ€™ve been great
