Summary: This unique designed architectural property blends nature with the old and the new. Comforable living with a hotel/ efficiency feel. All the while nestled in the back woods off the side of a semi-rural working farm with steps to shady canopies overlooking a babbling creek full of wildlife from fish to fresh water river beaver.

Summary: I stayed here during a funeral for two family members. I had the sound and sight of Buck Creek and beautiful farm land with some handsome cows on opposite side. Tony is great to work with, gave me privacy, didn't see him unless needed. Need a getaway, this is the place! Close enough to town, restaurants but peace and quiet when needed.

Summary: Not worth the price at all. Oven didn’t work. Grill wasn’t on site. Air conditioning was terrible. At night we were in an 80 degree home. Laundry room smelled like old piss. Wet laundry was left in the washer. Shower had a constant drip and leak. One of the rooms of the house was a shrine to the owner (trophies, newspaper articles, the likes from a college athlete). It was really weird to see everything on full blast. Had to walk to end of driveway to get to the grill (1/10th mile). Dishes and silverware were ‘slimy’. No dishwasher. House owner stopped by multiple times during our ‘private’ stay. When we arrived, there was a sign that said ‘kids day, Saturday’ and a bouncy castle was blown up. That was a loud and intrusive experience. Several of the cabinets in the kitchen had mouse traps. One had a mouse nest where the mice had chewed up some fabric and started nesting. All in all, this is NOT a vacation home. You are better off pitching a tent than living in a redneck’s old trashy home.

Summary: Tony was very nice, helpful, and gave us our privacy the entire 4 days we were there. It was so peaceful and his home has a nice rustic feel to it with interesting decor. We'd recommend it to anyone if you want a country place near Lake Cumberland.

Summary: A quick easy drive from Somerset, this working cattle farm is beautifully set in rolling green pastures alongside Pitman Creek. The farmhouse is contemporary rustic with ample parking and a private deck overlooking the clear rippling creek, which yielded a treasure trove of Kentucky geodes for us. The host, Tony, lives in the home; but, he vacates for rentals while checking on his cattle daily. He was easy to reach and very accommodating regarding some cleaning issues. Renters should be be aware this is a private home with the owners personal affects present.

Summary: This property is gorgeous! We spent a lot of time enjoying the tucked away atmosphere watching the cows. The house is very unique in design. Tony was very nice and hospitable.
