Positive: Superb rooms, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom is huge and very pleasant to use. The beach and view are exceptional, so relaxing and a wonderful spot with white sand and interesting rock pools when the tide is out. Good food too, not overly expensive and had a good choice. Staff from reception to the restaurant were lovely - very helpful and respectful.

Negative: Poor WiFi in the rooms, only decent spit was by the restaurant. Very little to watch on tv unless you have a subscription to Netflix. Quite a few stray dogs around, but this is not just at this resort - it is everywhere in the Philippines.

Summary: Better than we imagined and we will return here for sure

Positive: the setting was so tranquil and perfect. the house set in the forest and facing the beach, a slice of paradise. the staff were super friendly --- so the meal times were a pleasure. the food and service really excellent. Overall it had the feeling of being part of the family.

Negative: sometimes the water ran out in the bathroom. but was fixed pretty quickly.

Summary: superb tranquil experience -- white sand beach and forest. great service and food and superb room.

Positive: I booked this for my family for one night but since they enjoyed the peace and serenity of the place, they extended for one more night. They got a different room on their second night since the room they initially got is no longer available for extended stay.

Negative: It is ridiculous to me that my family was asked to pay an extra P3,000 if they are going to use the kitchenette, although it is already listed in the facilities included in the Hillside Casita (refer attached screenshot). Isn’t it supposed to be already included in the room fee (P12,161) since it’s listed in the inclusions? I just hope the resort won’t delete this inclusion after this complaint. Sorry, I got the receipt. The 300 pesos per kilo service charge for the resort‘s staff to cook your raw foods makes a little bit of more sense. This is one reason why tourism in the Philippines is getting more unpopular by the day. It’s obvious resorts such as this one just want to milk money out from their guests so if you are thinking to book this resort, proceed with a lot of caution. You actually can book more luxurious hotels without extra charges for the same price. I have been to over 20 countries but this is the first time I have encountered such scheme. So disappointed.
