This is new to the market. Available to rent for the first time. This Lake front property is awesome. Recently renovated manufactured cabin, over 1,200 sq. ft. This warm and welcoming abode offers a quiet location, a deck with a grill. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large tv with Dish TV with 100’s of channels and many board games. It has a well-equipped kitchen. There is a large back porch to sit and watch the boating world go by. Many kinds of boats are available for rent at the Lake Barkley Marina only minutes away. The house includes a covered dock with great swimming and fishing (Kentucky Fishing License required). There is a fire pit located by the dock.
This house can sleep up to 6. Free WIFI, keyless entry, central air conditioning & heating, in-unit laundry machines, linens/towels, trash bags/paper towels. Just 15 minutes to the Lake Barkley lodge, beach, and restaurant. Spend your days exploring the Woodlands Nature Station, practicing your golf swing at the Boots Randolph Golf Course, visiting the Venture River Water Park, or simply boating the day away out on Lake Barkley. Right off the new highway 80 new bridge across the lake. 25 minutes to the Land between the lakes, where there are tons of things to do.

Summary: Host was very responsive to inquiries both before and during our stay. We always received quick replies. The home itself was nice, and packed with all of the essentials. The water/view was a nice perk. We had some troubleshooting to figure out the front door, but another review mentioned pushing in the door when typing in the code and that seems to have helped. Any time we were inside we just locked the front door to keep it latched. The neighbor was also very friendly. Cleanup requirements were also reasonable.

Summary: This was probably the best cabin location that we have had during all of the years renting through VRBO. The view of Lake Barkley from the back deck is amazing and the private boat dock allowed us to use our kayaks and swim easily without driving anywhere. The hill to the dock/fire pit is kind of steep so not conducive for going back and forth very often or for people with walking difficulties though. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. We like to cook & eat at our cabins most nights and we found the kitchen to be pretty well stocked although it was missing a few items that we needed like rubber spatulas, a larger casserole dish and non-slotted serving spoons. The internet service is adequate for one operation at a time like streaming a movie and the TV was nice. The living room couch and chairs were very comfortable. We enjoyed eating and reading on the deck and there are numerous birds and the occasional deer to watch as well. The gas grill probably needs to be replaced because only about half of the burners are operational which makes it difficult to grill more than a few items at once. Overall, we loved this place and we would definitely rent this cabin again if we go back to the area in the future.

Summary: This was a very clean place to stay right on the water. We loved the boat dock and the boat ramp was not far down the road. We used the small fire pit. It would have been nice to have chairs around it. We caught catfish, striped bass and carp galore. The sunsets were amazing! Wish I could leave a picture. Thanks for the stay.

Summary: A few things need tweeked, but overall, nice place. The backyard was a little rough. Going up and down that hill was a workout! Needs ceiling fans, would cut down a lot on a.c. use. Minimal parking. Absolutely on the lake!

Summary: Nice place on the lake. As mentioned in another review, the door lock was a little temperamental but we quickly found that pressing the door in a little when unlocking did the trick. No issues and it was just as described. Several close boat launches and stores. We loved the covered dock space and caught a couple of large fish. As a bonus, the next door neighbor was very pleasant!

Summary: This is a nice, clean cabin with a fabulous view of the bay. Our family stayed here to visit land between the lakes. There is a nice balcony to sit out and watch birds and the water. There was a bit of trouble getting in and latching the front door, but Brent was very helpful and brought a regular key. I would stay here again for sure.
