Welcome to Garden Cottage! This former family home located on Edgewood Beach, on the east side of Seneca Lake, is the perfect spot for your Finger Lakes getaway. Located 7 miles from downtown Geneva, 30 miles from scenic Watkins Glen, and 45 minutes from Rochester and/or Syracuse. Seneca Lake is the largest and deepest of the Finger Lakes and boasts excellent trout fishing experiences. Our world-class wineries are within minutes of the house.
This cozy 3 bedroom home (2 queen beds, 2 twin beds) comes fully equipped. There is a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, washer/dryer, coffee maker, and kitchen island with seating for 2. Dishes, pots/pans, silverware, and linens are provided.
The living room looks out onto Seneca Lake and has an entertainment center (with Direct TV) and dvd player. The front room includes a dining table that will seat 6-8 people.
A patio with chairs and a picnic table provides the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset after your fun-filled day. Barbecue on the charcoal grill or enjoy a fire after dark in the fire pit. The public boat launch is a short drive and is visible from the cottage.

Summary: We have stayed here several times and nothing can compare with the Garden Cottage. The location is beyond beautiful, rhe gardens are in full bloom, the home is spotless. Warm touches of fresh flowers, wine and candy add to the experience. Homeowners are amazing, so kind and always welcoming.

Summary: There were three of us girls. And we had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Katie’s cottage. It is very cozy and inviting . Fresh flowers were everywhere in the house. We had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Weather was beautiful! We enjoyed breakfast at a local cafe. We especially enjoyed the large screen TV and cable so we could watch football on Sunday. Hopefully we can come back some day.

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about this location and the owners! The cottage is very clean and nice. They have all we need for our stay. Jean is very easy to communicate with if needed. This was my 4th year here and will always keep the memories of the fun we had!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house. Everything was clean, flowers everywhere and even a bottle of local wine. We had a minor emergency and the kind neighbors were very pleasant and willing to help. If we are in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate booking this house again.

Summary: Nice, big, clean place with plenty of dishware, pots/pans, towels, etc. to easily cook meals, relax and watch the sunsets from the back bedroom or on the outside picnic table. The stairs to the dock on the lake were too steep to conquer so don't count on this as a place to swim. Also, there's a very long graveled road to get to the place so take it slow. Otherwise, it worked well for a week stay in Geneva for us. The Geneva visitors center was really nice and the 1-hour boat ride from there was relaxing and fun. An added surprise at the cottage...our hosts gifted us with a bottle of wine and sweet treats!
