Summary: Fantastische locatie. Zowel in de zomer- als in de herfstvakantie hebben we hier mogen verblijven. Vanuit de woonkamer en twee van de vier slaapkamers heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Het terras is prachtig aangelegd, net als de tuinkamers, de trappetjes en de beukenhagen. Het huis en de inrichting zijn gedateerd, maar dat hoort voor ons bij de charme van het huis. Zelfs wanneer je niet alle kamers gebruikt is iedere kamer toch een bezichtiging waard. Verder is er in alle gemakken voorzien. Ontvangst door de eigenaar, en bij een eerder bezoek door zijn broer, ging allervriendelijkst. De een spreekt aardig Nederlands, de ander Engels. Beide waren erg behulpzaam. Parkeren kan op de oprit, maar vergt wat vaardigheid en voorzichtigheid bij het in- en uitrijden. Het huis ligt hoger t.o.v. de straat, dus bagage moet sowieso een aantal aangelegde natuurstenen trappetjes worden opgesjouwd. Te voet ben je in een paar minuten in het leuke centrum van Bouillon. De terugweg is na een aantal biertjes of wijntjes wat lastiger, maar nog steeds goed te doen. ;-) Ook op loopafstand: de lokale kartbaan en het charmante dierentuintje van Bouillon. 's Avonds kun je vanaf het terras de ezel horen balken en de wolven en honden horen huilen. Kleine minpuntjes: het verkeer van de nabijgelegen snelweg is in de herfst nog beter te horen. Waarschijnlijk door de windrichting en de minder dichte begroeiing. Dit staat overigens duidelijk vermeld in de omschrijving, dus dat kan ook geen verrassing zijn. Voor ons was het ook geen heel groot probleem en in huis heb je er weinig tot geen last van. Verder zijn de eetkamerstoelen in de woonkamer wat doorgezakt en aan vervanging toe. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug.

Summary: This was truly an amazing stay with my wife, son and my parents. What a beautiful location. And what an amazing view! Sitting in the garden is just pure enjoyment. The house is beautiful and old. The furniture is old as well, but that only adds to the character of the house. House was clean, and everything is working fine. There is room for 2 cars parking in front. But you need to be careful, the driveway is extremely steep. The only thing we would have liked to have is a bit better quality chairs in the garden. The plastic chairs are such a contrast with the beautify of the general garden, house and views. But that's just a tip from us :) Other than that... AMAZING!

Summary: wij hebben gemengde gevoelens over gehouden aan ons verblijf ik zal beginnen met de plus punten de congierge is super vriendelijk en ook van haar woord het uitzicht is fantastich daarvoor alleen al zou ik in die buurt terug huren de slaapkamers zijn ruim keuken redelijk uitgerust maar dan nu de min puntjes er word gezegd er op rit en dat klopt enigzins ook wel maar je kan er zelfs met een kleine wagen niet zonder brokken en krassen terug uit rijden is ook zeer gevaarlijk je ziet geen verkeer aankomen er word gezegd het huis vrijstaand is maar dat klopt niet het is een krappe twee woonst bij aankomst krijg je al meteen te horen dat dit en dat niet mag ook zijn quasi alle kasten op slot een kapotte frigo doet dienst als op berg ruimte voor keuken en living wat maakt als je met groot gezin komt je gewoon de keuken moet gebruiken als opslag ruimtewaar door je dus op de door gezakte stoelen in de living moet eten voorts is er een kook plaat stuk waardoor je er maar drie hebt ook ligt de planken vloer in de living los als je toilet door trekt hoor je dat door heel het huis want het huis is bijzonder gehorig geen enkele deur past nog in het slot ook ontbreekt er een stuk trap leuning wat tot levens gevaarlijke val partijen kan leiden we zijn er zelf afgevallen met pijnlijke blauwe plek tot gevolg dat leid me tot de boven verdiepingen in de badkamer blijft de douche kop niet op de juiste hoogte hangen zakt naar beneden jacuzzi werkt niet paravant blijft niet recht staan zoals beneden quasi alle kasten op slot we hadden een kamer voor twee personen waar maar een kleine kast open was bovendien is de electriciteit door het hele huis verouderd en niet meer veilig elektriciteit van 50 jaar geleden dit kan kortsluiting en brand veroorzaken stopcontacten niet voor zien van teir (je kan dus elektrische schok krijgen bij insteken stop contacten de tuin is prachtig maar er liggen op de trapjes veel stenen los ondanks dit alles hebben we toch een leuk verblijf gehad in bouillon momenteel zou ik het niet aan vrienden aan raden of zelf terug komen mits er qua veilligheid iets veranderd zouden wij dit wel aanraden want het blijft een huis met goede ligging en veel potentieel

Summary: The house is situated within a 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The way back is uphill. The house is very well cleaned and maintained. The single-person bath tub in the bathroom has a jacuzzi system. The small tv-set has a Scart input, not hdmi. Wifi all over the place. Large garden with a magnificent city view. The time we were in Bouillon, the outside temperature raised up to 32° and 37°C, but the house remained comfortably cool. And in summertime there were no mosquitoes! The parking space on the premises is not so easy to reach for a big car but there is ample space (3 cars) in front of the house across the street. We had a very friendly welcome. To recommend!
