Positive: This hotel faces the main plaza in Aguascalientes. Walk out the front door into the action of the day. Easy walking to small shops, museums and the cathederal. I loved the room and the lovely age and architecture of the hotel. It has been a hotel for more than 70 years and has been added onto over the years. Underground parking was very convenient but I never used my car in my 3 night there as walking was so easy. I would certainly stay here again.

Negative: Being downtown meant that there could be some noise. I visited during a religious celebration week and the parade of semi trucks blowing their horns for 2 hours was a bit much....however, that was not a common occurrence for most peoples stay.

Summary: Wonderful location, great, old, hotel.

Positive: Great location

Negative: This hotel is extremely outdated, the carpet and everything inside feel very old. The shower was hard to turn off completely so you could hear it dripping continuously. All bathroom fixtures were old. The room felt cramped. Also, this hotel is literally in the town square and you get a lot of noise from that.
