Summary: This was a quick trip for a conference for my husband. When I booked the room i looked for a place with a pool. I’ve learned my lesson with years of travel and I called to make sure it was open I was told yes. My plan was to check in and I’ve had an hour or so to relax at the pool but I get there and there’s a pad lock on the gate. I called the front desk and was told they were coming to unlock it. 20 minutes later I go into the office all the employees are in the lobby scrolling phones and I say hi I was waiting for someone to unlock the pool. I was then told they just put chemicals in and I would have to wait 2,3 hours maybe more. No one even came to let me know. I’m just out in the heat waiting for someone. I then read the reviews this seems to happen regularly. So there went my relaxation time. Not to mention the huge scrape in the wall with missing paint, black stains on the towels, I think one was a blood stain and having to throw my socks away from the dirty floor! Why is it that guests are expected to pay full price and you’re not expected to hold up your end?? We go to breakfast and there’s laundry everywhere!! They’re literally folding the towels on the guest tables in the meal area. There was only 1 table available and the older gentleman folding towels was butting in our conversation and being kinda aggressive in his tone. It felt like a warden or something. The waffle machine needs 3 times for it to cook all the way. So lesson learned and money wasted here.

Summary: We had a dog with us and paid the $30 pet fee on top of the $50 deposit for damages. When I checked my bank account they double charged me the $30. I called and they tried to act like one is a pet fee and the second was a $30 deposit. Neither of them mentioned 2 separate charges. When trying to check out the man behind the counter was dead asleep. I tried to wake him but didn’t budge. If you’re expecting a nice hot breakfast try Waffle House or Cracker Barrel. They had yogurt, cereal that you couldn’t get out of the dispenser and the waffles weren’t good at all. The beds were fairly comfortable but the frames squeak loudly. AC worked great.

Summary: Horrible experience!!! Woke up to maintenance outside the room working on routine repairs at 8:44am. I was told he did not know that there was anyone in the room. The room smelled horrible due to the HV/AC unit being off! It smelled like stagnant water and cigarette smoke. The bathtub had a large crack in the bottom, would not hold water. There was dust everywhere throughout the room. Stains on both comforters. Upon checking out the staff member on duty was very, very rude when I pointed out the issues. He informed me to go and complain to the third party booking company I used. Thank goodness because I travel for a living, I knew immediately how to grab the iron and check for bedbugs! I will NEVER be back! There are many other options within seconds away on the same road! I can’t believe anyone would stay there unless (it’s a need for a very cheap) room and you’re able to overlook filth.
