Positive: The service that we received from Alex, at the front desk was excellent! He was accommodating, friendly and very helpful. In addition, we left two items behind and you kept them safely and we were able to pick them up one week later!

Negative: Our sink was cracked, one of our side lamps wasn't working and the one side of the curtain was ripped. I always feel uncomfortable when there are previous damages in a room, because I am concerned that I will be held responsible. Perhaps a disclaimer in the room...We, the management, is aware that ... would be helpful. I felt obligated to notify Alex at the front desk about these issues and I felt quite petty.

Summary: This is our family's second trip to Corning, from Canada, en route to New York. Wonderful!

Positive: Breakfast was well prepared and fresh and plentiful. They even had a gluten free option for making waffles with separate utensils and spray release. However, they quickly had to close it down when a guest used regular batter in the gluten waffle maker. Maybe this could be avoided by being able to separate the maker further apart even though everything was clearly marked. People at 6am don't read. We forgot our pillow and the desk staff knew we were going to the Corning Museum and called us to pick it up before leaving town.

Negative: Nothing stands out.

Summary: Will stay here again and actually did on our way home from visiting Rhode Island.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location had good attractions. Nearby by shopping options were a plus.

Negative: The breakfast could have had a few more choices. Better lighting in the parking area could be brighter. Carpet should be replaced or removed.
