Positive: The apartment has all you need for a stay in Troyes. Walking distance to charms of the old centre but away from all the crowds and noise. And the owners are responsive, going above and beyond to ensure that you have a nice stay.

Positive: Location was great and very close to the centre. Apartment was a good size. Nice shower. Good wifi - but needed to ask for password to be sent.
Negative: The access to parking was very tight and difficult to access if approaching from the wrong direction - in the sense that you needed to approach from the road opposite the property rather than the road the property is in itself. Might be worth updating the details to explain this. There was parking for several cars once you navigated the narrow entrance but with more than 3 or 4 cars or larger cars manoevering to get in and out is rather awkward. Staircase to upstairs apartments is rather awkward (narrow, windy steps) so for anyone who is less mobile, this could be an issue, so would be wise to recommend ground floor accommodation - happily not an issue for us. Wifi was good but it would be useful to have the wifi passord etc available inside the apartment.
Summary: Nice apartment, good location, would use again.

Positive: We only stayed one night, but the apartment was so well equipped it would have been perfect for a longer stay. Ideally placed for the centre of Troyes with its cafes and restaurants and with private parking included it was exactly what we wanted.

Positive: Spacious, comfortable and extremely well appointed appartment within an easy walk of Troyes centre - and a very nice centre it is too! On site parking (subject to below note). Very helpful and charming host who we spoke to on several occasions. He has only recently taken over the property (think we were his first guests in fact) so it's a work in progress for him but it was evident from our conversations that he's totally serious and committed to making sure everything is perfect. Shouldn't imagine it will require too much tweaking therefore!
Negative: The parking whilst very convenient might prove challenging for some as it entails passing through a shortish but extremely narrow gap with walls each side. It needs to be approached absolutely straight on which is easier achieved if approaching from the far side of the road. If not you need to swing out wide onto the far side and just take it steady. At the end of the day it's perfectly achievable (especially after the first time which might be a little daunting) but as the owner explained to us free parking on the road outside is also available. Though there are the customary slatted shutters, the rooms would benefit from blinds or curtains to control the light particularly first thing in the morning.The property access information which is by way of a keysafe downstairs and a combination lock on the door knob upstairs is clearly explained but it's worth bearing in mind that to relock the upstairs door it's necessary to key in the same combibation code again. It confused us at first as we weren't familiar with that particular locking system but a quick message to the owner was all that was required for an instant answer to our problem!
