Positive: Absolutely gorgeous location and friendly staff

Negative: When we arrived they had changed our room to a single bed room where we had booked a double bed room. They were able to accommodate us after we pushed to take the double bed room. There was no hot water.

Positive: Breakfast excellent. Bed comfortable, room very pleasant and light. Evening meal OK but restricted timing didn't always work. They were very helpful about a late change from two people in a double room to only one, and I got more of a refund than I had expected.

Negative: Restaurant mainly or only for residents and limited menu, but adequate. Could have done with another power socket in the room. Owners were away for most of the week so it was sometimes hard to get information, but everyone was very willing. Compared with other places in the village it was quite expensive.

Summary: Very enjoyable - wonderful village.

Positive: The location was superb. I loved having a balcony. I liked the decor - lots of natural finish. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Negative: It was a little dark outside my room - difficult to see the door lock

Negative: Evening meal quite average, well served but without imagination.

Positive: I arrived earlier than the check-in time, I called the number at the desk, Jutta arrived and I just wanted somewhere to store my suitcase and ski equipment, but she was more than happy to show me to my room which was very nice, a large balcony and a view over Berwang and Zugspitze. Also there was a comfortable ski room in the cellar to leave your equipment , boots and clothing. Jutta and Elmar were fantastic hosts, providing a wonderful breakfast and evening meal every day. Even advising me where so visit each day depending on the weather. Also the kitchen staff and waitress were super friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would gladly go back. The location was good, not too far from any ski lift.

Negative: Everything was perfect.

Summary: A wonderful experience, friendly, comfortable and relaxed.
