Summary: We’re from Australia and enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and quiet. We enjoyed the gym facilities and pool. Beach and restaurants close by . We always prefer to stay here due to location and wonderful, efficient staff.

Summary: I loved the location the staff were friendly room was very spacious.. only thing I didn't like was the $60 a day parking fee sure it was valet but $60 plus tax a day is outrageous...if I stay here again I won't rent a car.

Summary: With the exception of the first staff member that checked us in and the bell person that gave us our chair the first day, we found the staff to be dismissive and unhelpful. Our tv didn’t work, we called multiple times to finally get someone up to fix it. Deck (dining) was out of many things and they just decided to close an hour early the first night. Staff seemed bothered to take orders and serve guests. The food was bland. Room was ok- very outdated bathroom and super noisy if you face the zoo or pool. A weather front was coming through and the staff was not only unprepared, unhelpful and there was zero communication. Guests had no way to get food of any kind and there was no power for the majority of the day Friday- the alarms were blaring and part of a message played to evacuate so everyone went to the stairwells which was an enormous fire and safety hazard- after we were stuck in the stairwells for about 15 minutes, we finally made it to the lobby, where staff were not directing us and didn’t seem concerned at all. So in the pitch black, another guest informed us that it was a false alarm. So we waited in a line to try to ask a staff member if we were cleared to go back to our rooms. I am aware that the hotel does not control the weather but the lack of preparation is completely unacceptable. There are a couple of shops and restaurants nearby. I would not recommend nor will I return to this location.

Summary: Don’t let them put you in the 3rd floor. The restaurant and staff are super loud, even late at night. Otherwise the hotel is a perfect location, the laundry room is awesome and the air conditioning is great!

Summary: Great location across from Kapiolani Park and near ocean. Older hotel recently renovated to keep old Hawaii style. Deck Restaurant has great atmosphere and excellent dinners, although less good breakfasts. Friendly staff.
