Positive: Very nice grounds and a picturesque old building. The bed was comfortable and huge room. Karen was a friendly host and breakfast was limited but sufficient and still warm from the oven.

Negative: It would have been nice to have a sitting lounge to have a drink in the evening. The bedroom was large enough for 4 to sit around but a separate area would be nice.

Summary: Grand old little chateau.

Positive: Interesting property set in large grounds. Karen was a very welcoming host. Availability of tea/coffee, and bottles of water. Bed linen very clean and beds comfortable.

Negative: The bedroom and bathroom could have been cleaner, though perhaps difficult to keep free of dust in such an old property. Shower temperature difficult to regulate. Noise from flushing of toilet in upstairs bedroom.

Positive: Wonderful chateau in beautiful gardens. Very authentic. Karen and Bo were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good. Lovely fresh croissants!

Negative: Curtains were tricky to pull as the ceilings are extraordinarily high and they weren’t on curtain rings. Shower step a bit slippery.

Summary: Lovely. Would like to return for longer.

Positive: Really nice place and rooms. Clean, great views, pictures areas around. Caren was really helpful

Negative: In our room the bathroom was separated from the main space with a wall that didn’t reach the ceiling. Can’t say that it’s really uncomfortable, just was a little bit strange. But it didn’t affect our stay

Summary: Our stay was really good. The place is wonderful and all the areas around. The host is really nice and helpful
