Positive: I have stayed here twice before and would stay again. Hotel is central in Ennis and walking distance to many shops, bars, restaurants etc. Bed was comfy and bathroom had a rainforest-style shower.
Negative: No car park on the hotel grounds. There is a free car park around the corner at the GAA grounds (locked at night) or two other car parks close by which must be paid to use.

Positive: The beds were comfortable, the bathroom very clean. It is an older property, and has charm.
Negative: Our room did not come with breakfast, despite it being mentioned as having a good breakfast on our booking site. This was a bit misleading. The breakfast we purchased, however, was nice. The first room they gave us was BURNING HOT. The toilet didn't flush, and there was NO adjustment for the radiator setting. When you opened the window, the noise was incredible. We were given another room which worked much better, although the noise from the bar downstairs was SIGNIFICANT. Getting to our room was through 2 sets of stiff, very narrow double doors, which for a fit person (which we are) still was a bit of a struggle. I would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE with ANY mobility issues.
Summary: This hotel is best for young, fit adults who enjoy lots of night life-related noise.
