Positive: When I read some reviews a few days before my trip I saw a lot of complaints and I was a little discouraged. I did not have ANY of those problems. The space was wonderful. The scenery was immaculate. The home was clean. The hosts gave detailed information at check in and were available if needed. The beds and pillows were SO comfortable in every room. Hot tub was working and clean, seats 7 I believe. Many streaming options on the TV. Thermostat was very easy to use and worked quick and efficiently (I know because I and a friend of mine kept changing it. I like 72 he liked 68) We did utilize the kitchen and it had everything we needed. This space felt very inviting and safe. We would love to return here for any more extended trips we take to Cripple Creek.
Negative: The pictures shows white bedding and furniture covering...the couch was actually a moss green cover and the bed a deep navy. I know that seems like a dumb issue but I really enjoy the cleanliness and openness white brings to an area so it just made everything seem down. There are also a few minor dings and scraps in a lot of the area that need replaced but none of it affected my stay. Little repairs that should be addressed, master bathroom tub has a slow drain and could use a new shower head, front screen door latch can stick so you have to wiggle it to get the door to stay closed, roku remote definitely needs replaced. Buttons stick and don't work and the back battery cover is cracked so slips off. At check out they did ask us to start a load of towels but I was unable to find laundry soap. I just notified them and it was not a big deal. Cleaning staff could be improved. Upon initial walk through there was an empty water bottle left under one of the beds. Big trash like that shouldn't be missed. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The road to the home was a less then some would hope for especially if you are in a smaller car. Now being a Colorado Local it really wasn't that difficult to navigate but in the snow it may be much more inconvenient.

Positive: Plenty of room for 10-12 people. Functional kitchen, although we didn't do any cooking as we were gone daily. Nice laundry facility. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very nice.
Negative: When I made this reservation a hot tub was listed as an amenity. However, the hot tub was unusable. When the host was notified they at first seemed shocked and asked for pics, which I supplied. Then they stated it had been for down for months and was removed from listing. They were very responsive until I sent an email with a picture from the listing/reservation showing hot tub listed as an amenity. At that point communication ceased. On our last night, we killed a mouse that had chewed it's way into our bag of chips and could hear another in the wall. I again emailed host, more as a courtesy so they could handle the problem. No communication. One of the main reasons we booked this property was the hot tub. There was never an apology or any offer of compensation. We live in rural America and we occasionally have mice too so we could over look that. But the fact that they refused to acknowledge the problems or apologize left us disappointed. If you are looking forward to sitting in the hot tub, relaxing in the cool mountain air. This is not the place. Also, the road in is VERY rough so make sure you take it slowly!

Positive: Great view. Wonderful house with plenty of space! Very clean! Close to Cripple Creek. Would be beautiful in Aspen season.
Negative: A couple of the beds were a little soft and squishy. The shower in the master bedroom was hard to adjust to get a good spray coming out.
Summary: Wonderful, spacious and clean house with great views!
