Take a relaxing vacation in the woods! Our secluded cabin can give you the perfect escape for your family and friends. Come and enjoy the tranquility, the beauty nature has to offer all year round here in the Pocono Mountains - Towamensing Trails Community.
Our secluded cabin is located next to a woodland, has 3 bedroom, extra room and 2.5 bathrooms that can easily fit 10 adults + kids under 12 years old. Open kitchen with dining and living room with wood burning fireplace. The main floor has 3 bedrooms (1 Q bed/ room), one main bathroom with shower and tub and one on suite bathroom with shower and tub. Downstairs there is an extra room (1 Q and 2 F size beds), a 1/2 bathroom and a cozy family/game room with pool table. We have 2x single roll-away beds for extra guests. We have Central Air throughout the house (upstairs and downstairs).
After a long day of adventure - you can relax in the hot tub (5-7pp), warm up next to a real wood burning fireplace, play pool (8 feet slate) and various board games, watch a movie on a 51' flat screen ROCKU TV in the family room or smart TV on the main floor. Sit on the deck and relax by watching and listening various birds and wildlife (lots of Deer) or just enjoy some quite time.

All Year Round:
- HICKORY RUN STATE PARK (free, 15 min away) that spreads across Pocono Mountains supports many activities, some of which vary seasonally. During the Summer months, swimming is available in Sand Spring Lake, which is partially bordered by a huge sand beach (showers available), green filed for games, picnic areas, food court, many hiking trails and waterfalls. In winter, the frozen lake can be used for ice skating. Seasonal hunting is permitted in many areas of the park, with white-tailed deer, black bear, and squirrels among the game that may be hunted legally. Hawk Falls is a short walk from the main road. PA fishing license is required for fishing.

Winter: ski areas (Big Boulder -7 min, Camelback- 25 min, Blue Mountains - 25 min), Indoor water park (Split Rock Resort -H2O - 12 min, Kalahari - 25 min, Aquatopia - 25 min), Snow tubing, horse sledding, dog sledding, ice skating and fun sledding at Hickory Run State Park, etc
Summer:
- Towamensing trails community amenities offer a 190 acre lake that has a relaxing sandy beach with lifeguard protected swimming area, Boat rental Area, volleyball courts and playground as well as an outdoor community pool, Community Center, Game room, deck, pavilion, basketball court and tennis courts and the marina. During summer pedal boats can be rented (PA fishing license is required for fishing). The outdoor pool is open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Our vacation home is 3-4 minutes drive from the community amenities. To limit crowds the community only provides 8 wristbands per rental. This means only 8 guests can go to the amenities at once then exchange. Kids under 5 don't need wristbands.

Summary: The layout and offerings at this property were perfect for our family of 4 for a weekend trip. We enjoyed having access to the outdoor patio areas as well as the hot tub and pool table. The house is far enough from the neighbors to have a private escape.

Summary: Our family had a great stay at this house! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. The game room was a hit with everyone, especially on the rainy days, and we loved spending time on the screened-in porch enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The detailed instructions left by the host made check-in and check-out a breeze, which was much appreciated. The house is situated in driving distance to community amenities, however it is in a quiet part of the community, offering the perfect retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning!

Summary: I was drawn to this property not only because it was nice, but because I liked the set up. I also liked that I was able to bring our dog with us. This place offers 3 bedrooms with Queen beds (with a space downstairs for more adults or children.) Which was perfect for 3 adult couples. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. My only small complaint is that you have to bring your own linens and towels if you don't want to purchase them separately. We were also only 10 minutes from Pocono Whitewater Rafting. Overall, this house was perfect for what we needed!

Summary: My family and I were looking to get away for the weekend and came across this rental. From the moment we reserved until leaving the rental place we were very pleased! Melinda was consistently responsive to my questions and concerns 👍Very impressed on the cleanliness and how the kitchen was equipped with pretty much everything needed (pots, pans, dishes, etc)to prepare our meals. Just bring your groceries and you are good to go! The grill in the backyard was good for our burgers, etc! The adults enjoyed the hot tub! Everyone had fun playing pool! The kids loved keeping an eye out for deer! I loved going out early in the morning to the screened deck to read a book and hear the birds chirping away! We watched movies on TV with Netflix, etc! We got to enjoy the beach, pool and playground, included with the rental(about 10 minutes away by car)! The men and kids went fishing(bring your poles)! Ultimately, we even had a Sunday morning worship meeting with the family...in our prayers we asked God to bless the home and Melinda/family!... and those that will also enjoy the home just as much as we did!!! ——Then to top it off…I mindlessly forgot some items in the top drawer of a dresser and after reaching out to Melinda, she and the housekeeper made sure to ship them to me(naturally my fault, my expense👍). Thank you again, Melinda!

Summary: This was the perfect property for our weekend getaway. We stayed with 4 adults and 6 kids (from age 5 to 12) and the setup was perfect. The downstairs was a great spot for the kids, and all 6 of them were even able to sleep together in the downstairs bedroom. With only 4 adults, there was definitely room to spare. Upstairs, the kitchen had all the necessary amenities that you're used to having at home. The livingroom was a great place for the adults to relax on the couches and enjoy the real wood burning fireplace. The hot tub was a must for us, and it was perfect to use on those cold February nights. The host was very pleasant to chat with, and she responded quickly to the messages I sent her through the VRBO app. Overall, we had a great weekend at this property, and we would definitely stay here again! Summary: The property is adorable, just as advertised. Sitting in the hottub while it was snowing was amazing. Location was perfect, central to the Casino, hiking and horseback riding, all things we did on this trip. The property manager was sweet and there when we had a question. We can't wait to rent the house again. We highly recommend this property.
