Parking is just steps to the front door and the unit is on the main level so you will NOT have to navigate any steps.

Please note: Our pools are not heated and are open seasonally when the weather warms up. Typically this is late April to late September but this can fluctuate. We cannot guarantee the pools will be open due to temperature, maintenance or weather issues.

Summary: We were there four nights. A mistake. We would not stay there again. Big cockroach crawled across kitchen floor in the middle of the day. The combo washer/dryer was a total waste. It took hours to wash and would not dry. We needed to wash some clothes. It should be replaced. The shower drain doesn't work properly....drains very slowly. Standing in ankle-deep water while showering. There is a notice on the wall that the A/C is old and can freeze up if the temp is not kept between a certain range. And, that you could have no A/C until apartment management fixes it. Not a good situation in Alabama during the summer time. It should also be replaced. However, i was told that the apartment complex apparently owns the apartment and they control when the A/C will be replaced, not the VRBO folks. While the apartment was quite at the time, there are apartments above the unit and an apartment next to it. We could hear people above us walking around. It is a typical apartment complex.....fine, if that is your cup of tea....not ours.

Summary: Overall, it was a good stay. The pull-out couch was not functioning properly. The middle window would not lock. The screen door was also not functional. Other than those items, it was a good place to stay. It was clean and comfortable.

Summary: Everything was wonderful. Only small concern was that the water temperature in the shower was hard to get "just right" - it seemed to be either too hot or too cold. We'd like to stay there again.

Summary: I was in the area for business but wanted a place that was close to everything, including restaurants and shopping, but less busy and private..Meadowbrook checked all the boxes! The screened porch was one of our favorites--the gentle rain on the leaves of the trees and the dappled light through the leaves on a sunny day. It was a wonderful stay!

Summary: The apartment was just what we needed for our 3 day weekend getaway! Close to Oak Mountain for our hiking and the on site pool was a treat at the end of the day. The people who live in the complex were very friendly. We will be back!

Summary: Comfortable, quiet, very nicely decorated, beautiful natural landscape, and convenient to restaurants and shopping. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed having morning coffee on the screened porch looking out at the dogwood trees. It was a very nice stay and we’ll be back soon.
