3 Bedroom House in Whispering Hills, Pittsburg
We have modern kitchen equipment, washer and dryer on site, and a large back patio/ deck and an outdoor coal grill. The house will comfortably sleep 4 adults and 4 children. If you are ready to get away and find some solace in the forrest this house is stocked and ready. Please note DISH TV is provided. Due to the location of the property internet connection is sparse - even if you have been to the area before the location of my property is low for the towers to reach. I am consistently working to upgrade this but currently I have no available options. I will have directions on where the Bob Sandlin lake entrance is (only 3 minutes or so from the house) - you will have access to the boat ramp, small dock, and parking. There will be an initial stock of paper products, depending on the length of your stay you may need to purchase more. The pet fee is per dog and dogs need to be approved prior to arrival. Dogs are not allowed to be left unsupervised in the home. We do have 2 nest doorbell camera one by the front door and one by the back door and another exterior camera on the home for safety purposes.
If you're wondering what to do while you're 'roughing it' the delightful town of Pittsburg offers many different ammonites.
Bob Sandlin State Park is about 6 miles away (maybe a 12 minute drive) and they offer many different activities including hiking, bird watching, swimming, fishing, and more. Contact them directly for what they have available.
Top Water Boat Rental is also a great pontoon rental company you can contact if you would like to spend time on the lake.
Camp Shilo is also close and they have many different options as well including kayaks, a boat rental, swimming, and more.
Barefoot Bay Marina (about 25 minutes away) has rentals available as well, and even cabana rentals for the day. You could grab your cooler, rent a boat or couple kayaks and spend the day with your own cabana which has a covered area, picnic style table and grill.
Los Pinos Ranch Vineyard is about 20 minutes away, and the views are amazing. Sip wine while looking over the vineyard. They have a great dinning selection you can grab something to snack on or plan to stay for your meal.
Not too far from Los Pinos is EuFord Orchards. This is an outdoor market with locally grown fruits and veggie market with jams, jellies, honey, and other products available. Its a great place to grab some sides for your next meal, or some fruit to snack on!
If your looking for a quick bite and don't want to go far Fort Sherman Depo is our Go-to! They have a great breakfast and lunch selection (dinner hours vary) - we try to keep this menu updated at the cabin. This is a small bait and tackle shop with some convenience store items and a diner. You can dine in or order to go.
