Positive: The apartment is simple but nicely renovated. It's a walking distance from the old town. The yard of the house is a cozy and green inner yard, which feels like a garden hidden away from the noise of the city. We found the free parking also very convenient. All in all, it's good value for money.
Negative: The water pressure was unstable, and so was the water temperature, to the point where it was difficult to take a shower. We found everything we needed for a short stay in this apartment, but if you expect anything more than the basics, you may be disappointed.

Positive: Quiet place, not far from the train station and city center, generally good location. The host was nice.
Negative: The apartment was good, but the entrance and common places in the building were out of expectation. The water for shower wasn't reliable, however owner warned us in advance.

Positive: Very quiet location. Decor is modern. Kitchen facilities are good. Very private. Plenty of space to park the car. I liked the desk with chairs - comfortable to work. Strong WiFi.
Negative: Shower. Not good. It does work, but as it is a top floor of an old building, the water pressure is very poor. Basically, will not advise you to take a shower at a peak time, when neighbours below are using hot water as well. TV is not connected to any channels, but I managed to translate the signal off my phone into the TV on the wall. The rest is good.
Summary: Quiet stay away from Riga centre.
