The suite is above our garage (steps to get to your deck and front door) and has everything you should need, newly constructed 2 bed/2 bath suite, full kitchen, dining table and sitting area with cable TV+Netflix, full sized washer & dryer. Walk down to the ocean, a few hundred metres away from an off lease dog park with sandy beaches (when the tide is out). Easy driving into downtown Victoria (30 minutes). Metchosin is a quiet neighbourhood with lots of walks and lakes to explore. If you like golf, plenty of local courses for all skill levels.

Summary: Our family had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. The suite is beautiful, well thought out and stocked with everything you will need. The deck is the perfect place for coffee, reading and visiting. It is a beautiful location for walking and exploring and just down the path is a small bay. We borrowed their kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the rock islands. We saw the harbor seals swimming in the water and we could see/hear them from the deck making their noises while sleeping/sunning on the rocks in the morning. A definite highlight for our family. Hiking the Coast Trail at Aylard Farm was beautiful and there are many more hikes to go on. The hosts are lovely and offered great advice on where to explore and eat close by - honestly this is one of the best VRBO properties we have ever stayed at and we feel lucky to have had the opportunity to visit. Highly recommend!

Summary: Unexpected vacation of a lifetime! The suite was brand new, beautifully decorated and very calming. The owners thought of everything when they decked the place out. The location is quiet and beautiful. We cannot wait to come back! The best VRBO experience we've ever had.
