Time to get away from it all? This is the place! Come visit and enjoy the serenity and peaceful atmosphere of this log cabin. It's nestled in the woods and there's lots of greenery and wildlife - deer, turkey, rabbits, birds.
The cabin's 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths has everything you need. Fully furnished with bedding and bath towels, fully furnished kitchen, clothes washer/dryer, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms, stone wood burning fireplace, propane gas grill, hanging swing and rocker on front porch, or enjoy the outdoor fire pit.
Take a walk. Go hiking. Sip that morning coffee on the front porch while gently rocking in the rocking chair or porch swing. Have a cookout. Read a book.
The ONLY persons allowed at the cabin are those in the reservation. No parties, get togethers or events are allowed at the cabin or on the property.
Have lots of brochures and pamphlets on things to do around the area such as - Cumberland Falls State Park, Laurel Lake, Treetop Adventures at Levi Jackson State Park, Camp Wildcat Battlefield, Wildcat ATV Adventure Park, local wineries, (plenty of room to park ATVs/trailers at the cabin). Or you can do nothing! It's up to you!
Have a boat? Great fishing on nearby Woods Creek Lake. Have a kayak? Woods Creek Marina is only 3 miles from the cabin. The marina is open 24 hours from the 3rd week of April until the 2nd week of October. Launch fee is $5. Plenty of room at the cabin to park a boat/trailer.
Wildcat ATV Park is only 15 miles from the cabin. Plenty of room to park trucks with ATV trailers.
There is a wide selection of DVD’s and an array of board games (adult and children’s) and cards/poker.
Pet allowed - limit one. Check with owner prior to reservation. Must be housetrained and kenneled when away from the cabin.

Summary: I honestly couldn’t wait to leave this review! From the booking to the arrival and all throughout the stay even into checking out was a fantastic experience all the way around! The property owner Judy, is the most welcoming soul with an energy about her that lights up room! We fell in love with her the second we met her! I promise you that you’ll not find a better place to stay nor a better host to have! The cabin was immaculately clean and every detail of it was geared to insuring every guest has all they’ll need to have a wonderful stay. Literally, every detail was perfectly thought of for your enjoyment and use. The property is tucked into the most beautiful nature canopy! The towels & linens are top tier and so soft and comfy! We had 5 in our group along with our dachshund Auggie and the beds were all so very comfy! The property is so very well kept and the cleanest of any place we’ve ever stayed! If you’re looking for privacy and serenity as well as cleanliness & a host who feels like a lifelong friend, this is the place for you! I couldn’t find one single thing to complain about if I had to! Everything you’d ever need is here! We will most definitely be returning to vacation here and to see our new friend Judy!

Summary: Judy met us at the drive and literally made us feel at home from the start. Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, she had been very thorough during check in and going through the house rules. There had been three couples staying, all dragging various lengths of trailers pulling side-by-sides with ample parking onsite. Highly recommend anyone looking to stay in/around London, KY to consider this cabin! Peaceful setting and the whippoorwill at night was a realxing touch! Judy made our stay feel as though it was our home away from home.

Summary: Judy was an excellent host and the cabin was spacious and everything was as described. Also very secluded and our dog had a great time. Weather was a little rainy and cool but the premises and host were great. She texted to warn of a potential tornado in the area. Also lives 5 minutes away. Plenty of room for 6-8 guests.

Summary: Our family made plans to stay here for a short weekend trip. The cabin was cleaner than any other rental we have ever stayed in. When we walked in, Judy made us feel like we were family and greeted us warmly. She would have provided anything to make our stay more enjoyable. The linens, comforters and towels were high quality and were what we would have chosen for our home. What a sweet secluded place. The cabin seemed bigger in person than in the pictures. We enjoyed precious family time here, and would jump at the chance to return. Our family made joyful memories here.

Summary: The cabin was nice and very clean. I was impressed. It looked better in person than in the pictures. It had everything we needed. It was out away from everything but also only about 20 min. Away from plenty of restaurants/shopping. It would be a great get away for a romantic weekend or fun weekend with friends. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Summary: This was my fist experience with VRBO, and now I wonder if anything else will ever live up to it. We were in the London area due to a death in our close family, and needed a quiet and private retreat to return to after the funeral. This cabin was beyond perfect for our needs. It was extremely clean, well thought out, and very comfortable. Judy, the host, was very kind and extremely professional. One of the main reasons I chose this cabin over others is that it has very few stairs and fall hazards, which was very necessary for an elderly member of our group. Overall, I can’t thank Judy enough and would stay here again anyday and recommend to anyone.
