Green lake township believes renting 100 days per year to vacation guests is harder on my septic system than 365 days per year as a residence.
For this reason this property is no longer available. Feel free to contact Green Lake township and suggest they go back to kindergarten to learn math.
10 minutes outside of Traverse City we have a secluded cabin on a quiet road. Situated on a wooded waterfront 1 acre lot with a dock and lake access. There's no swimming area near shore but if you paddle out a bit the water is fine for swimming. We have many water lillie's that bloom throughout the summer season, excellent fishing and wildlife viewing with loons, swans, beaver, ducks, geese, herons, lots of deer and more. One guest recently spotted our local black bear.
This is a very peaceful and quiet lake with no traffic whatsoever so we please ask that your visit aligns with a calm relaxing escape. We feature 3 bedrooms, mudroom, laundry, galley kitchen, a full bath with heated floor, and a living/ dining room that views the lake. Grocery store less than 2 miles away.

Summary: Amazing getaway!!! Perfect for getting away from the city, but also only a few minutes from the best sights we've ever seen. Definitely booking this place again!!!!

Summary: We enjoyed the seclusion of the house very much. We were able to get where we wanted to go quickly. The kitchen was a little sparse, bowls and a few other things would have been quite nice. Grill worked just fine and the beds were comfortable. Towel racks would be nice.

Summary: Super cute little cottage that worked great for our family of five plus dog. The property was organized and the owners had lots of outdoor stuff available for us to us which was awesome. The location can not be beat, we did several day trips to the nearby pinkie towns and lakes and the cottage was perfect for base camp. Our only negative was the smell. It was overly scented to cover up the cigarette smell that was throughout. If you can get over the smells, it's truly a great place to stay. Thanks!

Summary: We loved this property. Very private cottage on a quiet lake surrounded by nature. Great communication from owner when we had questions. The cottage was spacious and clean. Having a washer and dryer was a added plus so we didn’t have to pack as much and could wash clothes after spending time on the paddle boat or around the fire. The cottage was also very close to everything you’d need and the owners left a detailed list of where to go for food, groceries, etc.

Summary: Had a great stay but we were accused of using wood he didn’t want us to use for a fire, which we never had. He charged us for it but then dropped the charges. So, don’t use his wood, haha

Summary: Property was not as clean as it should have been. Owner refunded cleaning and pet fee to compensate. Location very peaceful and lake was great for paddle boat or canoe/kayak but not a good swimming lake. Interlochen state park is less than 10 minutes away and good swimming beach option. Nice fire pit off back deck and deck is nice place for morning coffee/tea. Bicycles were nice for rides on near roads.
