Beautiful and quiet neighborhood located on the Thunderbay River. This house is set on a almost 2 acres partially wooded lot with frequent wildlife visits including; Bald eagles, Osprey, lots of waterfowl, fox ,whitetail deer and an occasional owl. The views are spectacular thru out the different seasons. The colors of fall are are breath taking with the reflection of the colors mirrored across the calm river. The winter brings the beauty of snow covered trees and partially ice covered river. The new life of spring is sure to catch everybody's eyes as all of the young wildlife start to show up and are paraded around thru the lillies. Cozy and comfortable home with a bonus 3 seasons room to be able to enjoy the scenery from the comfort of inside. We are within just 1.5 miles of gas stations, grocery store, dollar general, family dollar and 2 hardware stores. There are a few restaurants just a couple minutes that offer various food and drinks. Overall a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Located only a block away from the snowmobile / side by side trail makes it convenient for outdoor winter sports. Come and
share the enjoyment of this cozy setting and the great views of the river year round. Finding Michigan morel mushrooms is a favorite past time. There are thousands of acres of public land within miles of the cabin. Taking a canoe trip or kayaking from the cabin and seeing the wildlife or perhaps listening to the loons can be so relaxing.

Summary: Property was clean and had everything we needed. Only negatives were the squeaky floor and condition of the kayaks. Overall a good value and pleasant stay

Summary: We stay at the house for five days an it was so peaceful to wake up each morning hearing the birds chirping. Drinking coffee while you watch the squirrels chase each other as a Huron flies into the Bay. We woke up Sunday morning with a couple deer bedded down right in the front yard. As a family we where able to pass time kayaking the bay or fishing right off the dock. The location is great very accessible to the locate grocery store gas station. Just around the corner from town but yet not to close. A lot of close walking trails to venture on as well. Very comfortable home away from home I can't wait to make another visit for the car show again next year.

Summary: If you need to find your zen, your connection with nature or your inner peace, this is the place for you!! Everyone's favorite place to sit was the four seasons room!! We literally spent all morning in that room looking at the beautiful river and all the wild life around us. We kayaked the river, docked in town, had ice cream at a cute little bistro, the kiddos played at a park and even in the river for a little bit. There is a great grocery store within 5 mins of the house to get all of your food necessities and beverages. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back again!!

Summary: Excellent communication! Really nice place. The screened in porch was our favorite! Saw all sorts of ducks and geese. Saw a woodpecker. Even got to watch a couple of beavers hard at work! Would definitely stay again. It was close to our hunting spots for mushrooms. Had a little bit of a problem with the tv! Sent him a message and had it taken care of very quickly! So dont hesitate to check this place out!! Thanks again!

Summary: We had a great time! House is very nice, and even got to see a bald eagle in the back yard. We drove some back roads out of town and got to see a few elk! Will definitely come back again.

Summary: Our stay was amazing . A beautiful home, very calm and quiet area with stunning scenery. The house sits right on thunder bay river, If you wanted just a quiet getaway or have a scenic vacation this house can accommodate all your needs. Maybe a 5 minute drive to the main strip of Atlanta which has everything you need from a convenience store to restaurants to full grocery stores. My fiance and I went to Roger City which was about 1 hour away and we went to Gaylord which was about 30 minutes away. There was a ton to do and it wasn't that far to be able to enjoy it. The views from the property are amazing. A lot of wildlife which was very cool to see. A lot of ORV trails nearby and beautiful walking trails and lakes. The host was very friendly, Super nice !Will definitely be coming back!
