Situated on a spacious single family property with trees and ample lawn that backs up to National Forest lands. This spacious one bedroom apartment is attached to a single family home as a walk out basement dwelling. Plenty of light with French Doors and windows, spacious kitchen, laundry and small patio area for that evening cocktail or morning coffee. Access to relax and read a book on the larger yard on property available.
This rural setting affords nice walks to the river and surrounding horse properties. Staying on our property is a little haven away from the bustle of town. We are situated just south of Jackson, mere 15 minute drive to the Town Square, 30 minute drive to Jackson Hole Ski Resort, 30 mins to JH Airport, 35 mins to GTNP entrance & 55 mins to YNP entrance.
Please note, this is an owner occupied property with our family of four residing above. We have always been super conscientious to all of our apartment neighbors and continue to do so and often are not around. However, that said, the nature of the dwelling lends to some neighbor sound travel :)

Summary: This was a bucket list trip for us. Everything was perfect for the two of us. Owners were very accommodating and communicated with us to assist with anything we needed or had questions about. We appreciated the washer and dryer as we were going on to Yellowstone for several days. And the perfect send off was the deer in the backyard the morning we left! Thank you again!!!

Summary: My wife and I really enjoyed our stay! The location is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Elisa’s a fantastic host and the warm and thoughtful touches she has throughout the basement apartment make it very welcoming. We hiked in the Grand Teton park each day and while the property is outside of town it only took twenty minutes to get to the gate. We highly recommend it!

Summary: The property is indeed roughly 15 minutes from downtown Jackson, but you must drive over a wooden, one-lane bridge and down a gravel road to get there. This is not conducive to enjoying an evening in Jackson. The unit smells of oil, probably due to the oil tank in the rear utility room. Since it is a walk-out basement unit, it is damp, and most of the flooring is painted concrete. The washer did not work when we arrived; we had spent a week at a horse ranch and badly needed it....the owner had informed the wrong guest of this problem, so we turned down an offer at the horse ranch to do our laundry there. Awkwardly, we did our laundry, with the assistance of the owner, in her home above. We needed to do more late the next evening, after the washer was fixed. The tv was extremely difficult to operate and we were not able to watch what we wanted, particularly news shows. The kitchen and bath were adequate, though items in them were generally worn; a knife blade broke in my hand and the refrigerator was not operating properly so a dorm-size extra fridge was propped up on a table for use to keep meat and other items at proper temp. No ice was available upon our arrival after a hot day of riding horses, packing and driving. Our cellphones never worked for either incoming or outgoing calls during our stay, even if we went outside to make calls. We were awaiting news about my brother, who is extremely ill and in the hospital (the host knew about this situation), and could not make or receive calls about this while at the properly. We discussed these issues with the host, and she offered to refund our payment if we left by 9am that day....problem was, we already had left early for activities and did not receive the message till evening; the idea of packing and moving our food, gear and clothing at night to one of the motels in the area she suggested was totally daunting. Finally, the property description says you can walk to the Snake River. The river is quite a distance away, and the properties along the river had fences. We did not attempt to go there. Upon negotiation, we agreed on a partial refund, while staying the entire three nights we had booked. Her offer of a partial refund stated that "while it wasn't what you expected, with a couple of hiccups," we were "enjoying a space that is priced low to the average rates in the market." Indeed.

Summary: Great property for a getaway, just 20 mins to town and perfect spot to enjoy the scenery. Lots of space and places to get a walk or run in and quick trip down to The Bird for a low-key hangout and great food. Our host was awesome too!

Summary: Apartment was just as advertised and very clean. Beautiful setting in the woods and ver relaxing; we never turned on the tv. Owner was very accommodating and communication was fast. Would highly recommend for someone who wants to get away from Jackson but close to return for dinner.

Summary: This was an ideal location just outside of downtown Jackson. It was a quick easy drive into town but away from the traffic and congestion of Jackson. Very clean and quiet rental with room for a small group to spread out. Property owner was very responsive to any questions or requests we had during our stay.

Summary: If you are looking to be able to get away from some of the tourist hustle and bustle, while still being in close proximity to Jackson and its’ surrounding attractions, man is this the place for you. A 15 minute drive into town feels like no time at all when you get to drive across the Snake River and through the beautiful Wyoming landscape. Elisa, her husband, and their sweet pup make this place feel like a second home and provide all of the extras you need to make your stay comfortable. Excellent hosts, excellent location, and a memorable time are all guaranteed if you book with these hosts. Can’t wait to make it out there again!
