Positive: Stijn & Kirby were truly exceptional hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived on the property. If we were ever in need, it was easy to contact our hosts who made sure we had whatever we needed. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are exceptionally comfortable. We loved the outdoor areas and well-maintained gardens, with lots of activities from card games to bicycles. Our daughter especially loved the playground too. It was the perfect getaway for our family and we look forward to being back soon!
Negative: The back room was a bit chilly at night, so an extra blanket in that room might be helpful (the aircon heating is located in the lounge and is very effective! for that space!)

Positive: Beautiful relaxing property and we had a lot space for the kids to run around, very comfortable. The apartment had a room with a double bed and a separate area without a door with two beds. The kids loved the play area and pool even if it was cold! Lots of space for everyone. We liked the outdoor area for bbq. We would love to stay again.

Positive: Very comfortable beds, extremely good environment for the trips within the region. Friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool is heated for a very comfortable temperature, that makes the stay more pleasant. Bbq area was made available for us, thanks we really appreciate additional effort. The surrounding is very quiet and relaxing which is important for the night sleep.

Positive: Quinta da Alentegria is a beautiful property, privately owned, very close to the city of Alcácer. It has a very nice pool area, a playground, and several sofas in the shade to read a book or rest. The cottages are comfortable and nicely furnished, and the kitchenette is well equipped. The hosts are a Belgian couple, super polite and friendly. We traveled with our neurodivergent 5-year-old son, and they went above and beyond to accommodate his needs and make our stay the best possible. We are already planning our next stay! 😊

Positive: The location was very nice, the hosts were amazing, the house was very prepared with everything built in, even mosquito-nets to prevent them from coming into the house. The pool is very good (it had heated water), we had a barbecue as well.. Everything was great to spend the weekend.
Negative: No complaints, just to notice as we were 5 people, maybe we expected to be individual rooms. For instance we had a pregnant lady who had to walk all the way to the bathroom several times during the night and walk by where we were all sleeping. Did not provide that much privacy. But we're all good friends and know each other, so it was fine.
Summary: Great weekend-off ! Would do it again any time.

Positive: Alentegria is a green oasis of tranquility. Well-maintained garden surrounded by beautiful old pine trees. Stijn and Kirby work tirelessly to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Very friendly with a nice and interesting chat for those who need it. In the reception documents: meticulously prepared excursions in the Alentejo region en Lisbon; where is the best place to park, the good restaurants, interesting facts, ... The apartment was spacious for the both of us and everything was very clean, small kitchen but equipped with all necessary equipment and appliances, a sufficiently large refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. Given the beautiful sunny days during our stay, we were outdoors from morning till evening; the facilities are such that this is possible: separate dining area, BBQ, hammocks between the trees, loungers and sitting chairs, pleasant swimming pool that is virtually chlorine-free, and if you are lacking something, you can always ask 😊 A good night's sleep is guaranteed by the very calm environment, but also by the first-class mattress and pillows. We highly recommend this holiday address!
