Positive: The view is absolutely beautiful! Everything was lovely at Quinta da Galeira. The apartment was charming, spacious, comfortable, very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were great and my family loved the games room where we played table tennis. It was incredibly relaxing staying there, worth the hefty climb up the hill!! Pedro couldn’t have been kinder, thank you for everything.

Positive: Great views, lovely large terrace to sit out on. Plenty of outdoor chairs on terrace, and shading if necessary. Bedrooms were comfortable, and plenty of clothes-hanging space in hall cupboards. Air con very effective in very hot weather. Games room was fun, and friendly hosts generously left bread and pastries each morning, as well as doing some laundry for us (property didn't have washing machine).

Negative: Check-in process wasn't clear, so advance info would have been helpful. Pool is not suitable for someone with mobility issues (have to go up steps to get into it) which one of our group had. Living room area probably not big enough for 5 or 6 to sit comfortably, though dining area is. House would benefit from removal of some of the more personal items, such as photos, to make it more 'neutral''.
