Positive: A millionaire dollar view! Pedro the owner was wonderful. He even came down to the apartment on the last night with a couple of glasses of reserve port AND his accordion and gave us a couple of renditions of folk songs. I joined him on a spontaneous sing along of It's Now or Never - a genuinely warm and sincere fellow!
Negative: Nothing
Summary: A million dollar view of the Douro!

Positive: Beautiful view of the river surrounded by an extremely quiet natural setting. Our gory, Don Pedro, is a truly wonderful person who we really enjoyed meeting and with whom we enjoyed sharing a very special 40 year old Porto from his personal reserve. We should have stayed one week had our responsibilities allowed.
Negative: Absolutely nothing. It was perfect. The people in town were so friendly and kind. My wife went to coffee shop, they didn’t have take away cups for our American sized coffees do they owner of the shop told her to take the ceramic cups. My wife then wanted to leave her credit card and the owner completely refused. She trusted us to return the ceramic cups. What a refreshing attitude!
Summary: Simply wonderful. Refreshing. Will have to return specifically to Don Pedro’s place.
