Positive: The location was spectacular! Difficult to drive to but majestic views and very quiet. Several pleasant walks through vineyards and forest easily accessible from property. The daily fresh croissants and rolls were lovely. Guests should be fully advised ahead of time that the property is very remote, so guests should bring sufficient groceries and potable water with them for their full stay. We stayed in the two bedroom stone cottage, which had wonderful views from the second floor. Heating on the main floor in the living room and kitchen were inadequate. The one bathroom needs to be renovated, with installation of better ventilation or a small window, as there was some damp on the bathroom wall. This property is a delight in good weather. Staying there during rain or cold weather would be uncomfortable, and driving to anywhere else would involve about 25 minutes on very difficult roads.

Positive: The Quinta was in a beautiful setting. They Gave us more than enough food for Breakfast. It is run by a family and they were so kind. We enjoyed the wine they gave us and even purchased some more.
Negative: Everything was great so there was nothing that we disliked. It is in the country so if you want to be close to main attraction you might find it a little far.

Positive: Great amount of space, great views and amenities, tranquil and friendly staff. Very accommodating to young children. We were supplied with a lot of fruits, milk, juice, and daily breads. There were also ham and cheese for a fulfilling breakfast before we start the day. They let us check in early under short notice which was very helpful.
Negative: Heating was a bit slow in kicking in, we were cold the first night, it got better the second night. Hot water pressure can only support either the kitchen or the shower. There was a cat which didn't have a collar who kept wanting to come inside (with a dead mouse), it scared us a bit.

Positive: The property was exceptional. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered each morning. Scenery was wonderful.
Negative: It was difficult to locate. Our GPS couldn’t locate it. We had to ask for directions.
