Positive: You definitely need your own car but the property is lovely, stepping back in time. Old stone mill house converted into several rooms, with common outdoor areas. Kitchen well stocked with the basics and good grocer not far in town. There are so many incredible sights to see that are all around this spot, a really great base to explore from and return to everyday.
Negative: the interiors are rather rustic/ outdated but fine. Hot water was sporadic and ran out all together but the host got it going again for our last day. The outdoor eating is a shared space so you never know what to expect. We had the placer to ourselves 2 nights, one night shared dinner with another couple we met and one night were invaded by a graduation class of at least 60 revellers!
Summary: Loved staying here to get a feel for the history of the area.

Positive: Location is fantastic. The room (Lagar) was awesome, really characterful. We travelled with our little dog and were made feel very welcome. The swimming pool was as great, the outside space here was brilliant. A short walk into the town.
Negative: Nothing!!

Positive: The property is stunning.
Negative: The staff didn't seem to exist. Nobody was around to check us in, we had to search the whole property, then just ened up letting ourselves into our room because the key was in the door. There is no wifi even though the listing says there is. Also, the mini fridge repeated shut itself off and the hot water heater ran out of propane. Since there was nobody anywhere to be found to help, even after reaching out on booking, we didn't have hot water to shower.
